How Safe Are Our Comments And Identity Here?? by chrisxxx(op): 10:40am On Jul 27, 2021
Nairaland is one platform many Nigerians used to express themselves based on its anonymous nature. Anyday I didn't visit could be I was out of network.
Most of things are said here without fear of intimidation especially with the current clampdown on social media.
I have the thinking that Seun has the bank of our information and when cornered by DSS he might reveal the identity of a particular person of interest.
This is my view. I would want to hear others view on this.

Invictus obi is one approach, there are sophisticated malwares that can totally control you smart phone and read all your messages, record your calls, see all your files then send them remotely. All just by the click of a genuine looking link.

Even with VPN you are not completely safe, which VPN do you have that hushpuppi and Invictus obi cannot afford but they still caught them. If someone is determined and resourceful enough the person can track any and every nairalander

Lol... As long as you don’t use any of your real info signing up you should be fine. Also avoid clicking links on here. Never leave your cell# on here for any reason. You wish to contact anyone or vice versa use the messaging feature which links to the fake email you used to sign up. Let’s be safe guys. Nairaland now is not Nairaland 2 years ago.
