Good day all,

HUGE congrats to everyone who has received PPRs many more to come to everyone waiting.

Please is there any January 22 admission here who applied in May. I just really feel I should have changed my LOA to fall.

Also wondering if it makes any sense to start classes online?

May 5th applicant, no eligibility review yet.

Thanks

Dear Nairaland family,

It has finally dropped ooooo! Glory be to God Almighty!!!!

Sister's application
AOR: Feb 11 2021
Program: Practical nursing May 2021 (Sheridan college)- clearly can't go for May 2021 anymore due to delay, will go for Jan 2022 session!
Upfront medical : April 28, 2021 ( we said let's do medical to see if it will speed things up, lol jokes)
Medical passed: June 14, 2021 (just see how long it took them to update medical!)
Eligibility started: July 23, 2021
PPR and correspondence letter: this morning July 27th @ 4:34am!

What a wait! Basically this application took 5 months and 16 days. I remember I considered withdrawing the application at some point, but you all encouraged me to hold on! During this waiting period, 3 gcms notes were ordered and the fourth one has been ordered as well. All the gcms notes received didn't have much info as eligibility was blank. Each time I got the gcms notes, I was always disappointed that eligibility was blank. Now that I think of it, I guess it's not a bad thing...

I just want to use this medium to thank everyone for their support through out this journey! This is a wonderful platform and we all draw strength and hope from one another! One thing that helped me during the long wait was seeing other people's approval postings. I was always encouraged by those success stories. I remember telling myself that my testimony was near when DD097 and demure got approved as we all applied around the same time and faced this delay..

In short, this is a wonderful platform and I hope more people get to know about the wonderful support we have here! Thanks to all the gurus and everyone that tries to assist others with their questions! If you have any questions for me , please feel free to ask here so others can learn from it ! I'm rooting for all my co- February applicants and any one with a delayed application and of course everyone on here , that you will all get a favourable response soon in Jesus name!

Cheers to more success stories ! grin

Congrats it will go round

my only worry is, my application isnt following the usual dynamics i have seen here. i have seen people's eligibility starting months after submitting. my own eligibility changed and started like a day after i submitted, and that since April 18. it has been that way ever since. no ghost update since May when i passed my meds. gcms notes eligibility blank. so its a really worrisome situation.

Relax sir , m very sure your PPR is by the corner

Since he isn't your sponsor, there is no point submitting those documents..

If I may ask, why didn't you use your Dad as your sponsor though?
All those company documents of your Dad you mentioned are valid documents required from a sponsor..

You have your reasons why you didn't use your Dad as your sponsor, but truth be told, parents are the strongest and most preferred candidates of being a sponsor..

To avoid 5 - 10 years Ban, you need to act fast by drafting a letter to them with immediate effect by convincing them it was a mistake on your part...

Because when they start doing Background check on your application, they will discover you have been refused Visa in the UK, and that will lead to a Ban, which is far worse than a refusal..

So please act fast and respond to them..

Peace

ethnosadex:
Please, I just submitted my Canada study permit application and I misunderstood the the question " Have you ever been refused visa under the background information section. How can I correct the information and to declair my UK visa refusal? Please advise on how to go about it.

It's PPR guys

I applied myself on the 28th of April, 2021 after months of gathering several documents and making my first installment payment of school fees.

Ever since I applied, I just dey do hard hard hard girl, deep down my mind no settle.

I'm extremely grateful to God for crowning my efforts with this good news, and to my sponsors una try well. Thank you .

I got the good news this afternoon at exactly 12:11pm, two days after I sent mails to two parliament members and few minutes after I sent a webform.

Here's my timeline (non-NSE route, although I submitted mybankstatement for some accounts and normal statement of account with a letter from the bank with bank letter head as well as my IELTS result)

Application submitted: April 28
Biometrics done: May 7th
Upfront Medical examination done: June 8th
Medical examination updated to passed: June 15th
BVL/Correspondence letter: June 25th
PPR: July 27th, it's the perfect birthday gift my birthday was on July 21st and I wrote this in faith that I would get it a day before my birthday but I would still take it as my birthday gift sha
I even started packing my bag this week, lol

God is great indeed!

I got to know about this thread after I applied but I've learnt a lot and I would like to say thank you to everyone that has shared their journey on here, you guys are amazing.

It is my prayer that every PPR hopeful get their good news sooner than they expect and may Canada favour us all.

When asked "is your application been processed outside of Canada choose no" and send directly to Canada instead. They would get it and send it to your primary office.
