quote author=makano post=104151466]To avoid 5 - 10 years Ban, you need to act fast by drafting a letter to them with immediate effect by convincing them it was a mistake on your part...

Because when they start doing Background check on your application, they will discover you have been refused Visa in the UK, and that will lead to a Ban, which is far worse than a refusal..

So please act fast and respond to them..

Peace

Thanks for your response. I have sent an email to the Nairobi and Lagos office since the webform is displaying error in sending. I appreciate everyone for your response. I don't know how I omitted that but I thank God, I realized on time.

Yes partly, in addition to my hubby who is also sponsoring me.

Please any idea on how I can go about applying for SOWP for my hubby and study visa for my kids.

Most gurus always advise you land in Canada and get the necessary docs (SIN,study permit, home address etc) before applying for your family, but some lucky ones(though very few) have tried it successfully from Nigeria.

Dear Nairaland family,

It has finally dropped ooooo! Glory be to God Almighty!!!!

Sister's application
AOR: Feb 11 2021
Program: Practical nursing May 2021 (Sheridan college)- clearly can't go for May 2021 anymore due to delay, will go for Jan 2022 session!
Upfront medical : April 28, 2021 ( we said let's do medical to see if it will speed things up, lol jokes)
Medical passed: June 14, 2021 (just see how long it took them to update medical!)
Eligibility started: July 23, 2021
PPR and correspondence letter: this morning July 27th @ 4:34am!

What a wait! Basically this application took 5 months and 16 days. I remember I considered withdrawing the application at some point, but you all encouraged me to hold on! During this waiting period, 3 gcms notes were ordered and the fourth one has been ordered as well. All the gcms notes received didn't have much info as eligibility was blank. Each time I got the gcms notes, I was always disappointed that eligibility was blank. Now that I think of it, I guess it's not a bad thing...

I just want to use this medium to thank everyone for their support through out this journey! This is a wonderful platform and we all draw strength and hope from one another! One thing that helped me during the long wait was seeing other people's approval postings. I was always encouraged by those success stories. I remember telling myself that my testimony was near when DD097 and demure got approved as we all applied around the same time and faced this delay..

In short, this is a wonderful platform and I hope more people get to know about the wonderful support we have here! Thanks to all the gurus and everyone that tries to assist others with their questions! If you have any questions for me , please feel free to ask here so others can learn from it ! I'm rooting for all my co- February applicants and any one with a delayed application and of course everyone on here , that you will all get a favourable response soon in Jesus name!

Cheers to more success stories ! grin

Just imagining how happy you are right now.
Congratulations sis

Your PPR will come sooner than you expect!
I think the fact that they requested for the MBS again is a good factor. Hope the 7M was still intact in the account at the time they requested!

fav2deep:

Yes, I submitted MBS, know Also that I had submitted a good bank statement before it was asked to submit the MBS again. I submitted about 7million without adding any lumpsum and then my school fees receipt was added as adviced... However, I am going for A year program which is 18k and I had already paid 10k.this is so sufficient... But what does this have to do with the eligibility lasting so long?

Its not a must, a ghost update will hit your app before a ppr. A ghost update could still come and a denial.

So all you should look out for is your ppr not necessarily the ghost update

Oh ok... Thank you

Which new IRCC portal?

Lemme see the link pls
This is it
https://portal-portail.apps.cic.gc.ca/signin?lang=en

I’m just so surprised that I haven’t seen anyone who used the same format to submit an application. Dunno if I should start regretting using it to submit my application.

Vfs forwarded my Passport and decision envelope to IRCC since 22 July. Ever since I haven't heard from them as per passport return. How long does this usually take? I used ABUJA VAC. Pls response needed

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Shommyface: 5:40pm On Jul 27, 2021
For the PDF I used smallpdf website.

But I tried as much as possible to maximized which and which documents to upload on each sections as you can see from my timeline.

For Valuation, I told the company I dont need the whole valuation booklet, cox the valuation reports is more than 10pages. I just told them I need only 1 copy of valuation letter from them, confirming the property truly exist and the worth of it on their company letterhead.

happachris:
Congratulations sir.

Please how did you compress the whole of these files.

Please For your valuation report, did you scan the whole report or selected pages?

Don’t fret. If you are used to computers then you’ll do just fine. Like me, I find it tiring to write on paper extensively.

With a computer based test, your writing is legible, nobody will have an issue with handwriting wahala. It’s way easier.

I used British council and their desktops were superb. All the best in your exam

Iphiegrace:
Please I need info on the computer based IETLS... can someone who has done it tell me how it works, i have an exam on Saturday and I just realized it’s Computer based sad

Make correction on the imm form, save and send via webfirm and email. Explain the reason in the column, that way, they will receive the corrected and updated form.

Good morning all,

For those that did their Upfront Medicals after their applications have already begun processing.
Did you send the 'E-Medical' information sheet to IRCC yourself via Webform or was everything handled by the Clinic without you sending anything?

Thanks.

Send the e- medical sheet via web form, the hospital will do their part.
