Few animals strike as much fear into people as venomous snakes.

Although the chances of running into a venomous snake, much less being bitten and dying from the toxin injected into one’s body, are miniscule compared to dying from cancer, heart disease, or an automobile accident, this seemingly unreasonable fear remains very real for many people.

The snakes described here live primarily in tropical regions, but some might be living in research centers and zoos near you.

https://www.britannica.com/list/9-of-the-worlds-deadliest-snakes

Your title and the source you quoted are not actually the same , while your source , The Britannica , says "9 of the world's deadliest snakes" yours says "the world's top 9 deadliest snakes". Then again the title of the "deadliest" snake isn't so easy to decide as a lot things come into play , do you mean the snake with the most potent venom , aggressiveness of the snake , fast action of the venom or the most likely to attack for a snake. While some snakes have a highly potent venom they may be timid and may not even bite when provoked , examples are the inland taipan ( with the highest potentcy of venom ) and the belcher sea snake which won't even bite you if you handle it. Some have very fast acting venom like the black mamba who's venom can kill in as little as 15 minutes or less ( depending on where you are bitten ) , for some even with antivenin survival rate is 50/50. Some snakes also give dry bites with some snakes giving 75% dry bite ( only 1 out of 4 bites contain venom ) and some reducing the venom load , only the black mamba gives 100% venomous bites ( no dry bites ) and mortality rate is 100% without antivenin ( you will surely die without antivenin ). In my estimation though I'd rate the black mamba as the deadliest snake on earth but there's a saying that the deadliest snake in the world is the one currently attacking you.

E get one question wey I wan ask abeg.

This snake of a thing that people do eat.....don't the venom have after effects on human or does fire kill it too?

The venom bank is located on the back of the snake's head in the salivary glands. Salivary glands are the parts of the head where saliva is made...

That's why they cut of snake head when killed....other part of the body is fresh meat

If it bites you and you die it's venom , if you bite it and you die then it's poison

I don't just understand why God created some of all these that are very dangerous to humans and still useless.

Can someone tell me the important of all these snake,, mosquitoes and many other animals we can't eat including the ones that even the Bible forbid.

Many things are getting me confused when I think about religion and belief.

Snakes are actually more useful than rats , rats have been known to carry disease causing pathogens which kill man ( Lassa fever , bubonic plague , ebola ) to name a few , snakes on the other hand don't carry such pathogens to man. Snakes also help in keeping the pest population down , pest which damage crop

The ones u see people mostly eat are pythons. They are usually very long and big in size. They are non venomous along with other non venomous snakes.

But these ones on this page are venomous and if anyone eat it nah heaven the person go drink water and wash hand grin

Very wrong. Even the pythons and boa can be harmful ( through mercury poisoning ) and eating a venomous snake isn't dangerous or harmful.

The venom is been manufactured when it wants to bite from that green thing beside the liver. The venom is not found on the skin or body of the snake. Its safe to eat snake, though i never chop am before.

The venom is produced in the Jacobson's gland in the head , no venom is produced in the body

The speed alone

While the black mamba is the fastest snake and can bite repeatedly in a single strike the death adder is the fastest striking snake , it can go from striking position to striking to envenomation and back to striking position in less than 0.15 seconds

Grandmeister:

The list wasn't in order of venom potency. The black mamba and it's green cousin have more potent venoms than a boomslang for example. Even more than a king cobra. Potency and deadliness are not the same thing. The Puff adder is more deadly than the black mamba in Africa because it is more common and therefore bites more people (more people getting bitten means higher probability of deaths)...but it's venom isn't as potent as a black mamba.

Oh! I see
