Nigeria is one funny country.

Whenever I see the job requirements of any vacancy on LinkedIn, I look at it and wonder.

Asin, craZy requirements.

Yet, the person who occupies the highest office in the country cannot draft a good CV.

His closest contender for the number one office only has a diploma.

My point is, I'm so tired of these job requirements bullshit.

This is not applicable to government jobs.

All these things matter because work no dey. I once watched a CNN documentary where employers were begging Americans to come and work. They come to work today and disappear tommorow.

If you work for an American, European (excluding Russians because those people are horrible), or Hong Kongite, they pay for your service and still thank you. If a Nigerian pays your salary, he feels he's doing you a big favour. He expects you to thank him for paying your salary.

Ogeni who go get job go get job, though u are correct for high profile jobs. But there are few jobs in d country and thousands applying for it.

By the way when you have target to fill a certain number of positions with deadline and you have over 1000 cvs infront of you, the last thing you are looking at is their spelling, you will be looking at years of experience, qualification and job skill..

Most HR personnel nowadays don't check all these things; they just go straight to your academic and professional qualifications.

Imagine hundreds or thousands of CVs on your desk to process, do you want tell that its spelling mistakes you will be looking for?

HRs can misbehave when recruiting new workers. They feel like CEOs until when they get sacked and start looking for new job
