After "finishing work" , none of Udom and his family members will ever visit that hospital for anything. Akpabio built the specialist hospital and made so much noise but when he needed health services he flew out of the country. Who do these people think they are fooling sef??

Where are the medical equipment, beds, trolleys, Resus corners and tables, where are the theatres, ambulance etc.

This building could easily be a primary school and some grassroots skills acquisitions centre.

Actually the young man made an adequate use of a very good and positive side of his brain! His concerns are genuine, unique and scholarly.
Hospitals where our political leaders patronize abroad in comparison to what they provide for us here with the vast amount of money at their disposal, it could be termed "wickedness".
Too much of pampering of mediocrity makes them redundant and lazy to deliver high quality world class infrastructure to us in all spheres of our lives. Very poor infrastructure of a typical 'general hospital'.

The hospital in question is an existing facility. It was upgraded to this.. Upgrade doesnt only stop at facelifting, it must definitely include new equipments and more staffs.
Also hospitals doesnt need to be 500storeys before it qualifies to be a world class.

Quality and qualified health staffs.. Ibom specialist hospital was built and wasnt operated for long even after commissioning.
Was it world class, No.
You need to consider every factors present in a location before constructing highrise building, power supply first.
U don't expect hospital to have 18floors and be powered solely on generators.
Hospital isnt a charity house but business outfit.

Nearby Imo state doesn’t have one state hospital. Clan divide eats up the teaching hospital which has few crumbling bungalows. Governor after governor paints Owerri roads and leaves office.

This is secondary healthcare facility, we have tertiary and ibom specialist facilities in the state.
Between ikot ekpene where this upgraded facility is and ibom specialist hospital is less than 20minutes drive. Good road though not lighted cos it connects 4 different local governments...any one not satisfied using the secondary health care can move to ibom specialist.
