My mother was founder member - membership no 3 something - and now it has grown to be a mamoth.

In 1978, a group of 100 teachers met at a small room along Tengecha Lane in Kericho town and registered a Sacco.It was dubbed Kipsigis Saving and Credit Society. Four decades later, the idea has bloomed.

Kenyan Immigration Services Officials in Study Visit to Ghana
Six (6) Senior Immigration officers from the Kenyan Department of Immigration Services (DIS), took part in a five- day bench-marking study visit to Ghana where they had enriching exchanges with the Ghanian Immigration officials about the process of designing and implementing a successful Integrated Border Management Strategy and approach.

Under the aegis of the National Coordination Mechanism on Migration (NCM), the delegation visited the Ghana Immigration Training School, the Centre for Migration Studies at the University of Ghana and the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) HQ as well as the Ghana-Togo border point of Aflao, which is one of the busiest land borders in Ghana.

The study visit by the Kenyan delegation from 5-9 February 2018 was led by the Kenya Department of Immigration Services Deputy Director, Mr. Joseph Munywoki. The delegation was accompanied by three staff from IOM Kenya, led by the Deputy Head of Kenya Country Office, Mr. Ferdinand Paredes and IOM African Capacity Building Center (ACBC) Senior Migration Management Specialist, Marcellino Ramkishun.

That Sacco chairman taught me in 1987 in my grade 1. He was the deputy headmaster of my local school.

Yeah we fear stupid people. The fulani herdman has no business being the president in modern world. In kenya YOU MUST HAVE DEGREE to become a leader at any level.

Buhari in kenya is not even eligible to run for local authority council job in kenya.

Kenya constitution requires a president to have a degree - same with governors. The law requires the rest to also have degrees.

We cannot allow Fulani herdsman without even primary school certificate near power.
