I don’t see myself going back to memorise the words of some of Don Williams music (I might know the chorus and a few lines but not the entire thing) even though my dad played them till I grew up and left home.

It's not about going back to memorize songs like you are prepping for a test. You memorize songs by listening to them over and over again. If she has the said song in her phone and listened to the song multiple times then it's a strong chance she knows the song by heart.
I just think you believe she is lying about her age and every little thing she does helps confirm that believe.
