Blessing Oborududu a few minutes ago beat Soronzonboldyn Battsetseg of Mongolia at the semifinal of the Women's freestyle 68 kg wrestling to make it to the final of the event.

She won 7-2 .

Was so happy when adegoke narrowly qualified for the 100m ahead of trevor bromell.. When u watch the replay the US guy finished ahead of the Nigerian.
Wished the final was delayed for atleast 8hrs...

If Amusa is well groomed,by the world championships and the next Olympics in 2024,she will be d one to beat.
Adegoke is another medal prospect come next Olympics,if well nurtured.
Nigeria is definitely talented in athletes,wrestling and judo and should regularly be competing for medals in these events,but archaic leadership and corruption will just not let us see road.
There was even a time we regularly produced medal prospects in boxing,but now boxing looks like gymnastics to us.
