Good afternoon guys...
I'm frustrated, it just seems like I'm a joker. Don't get me wrong, when it comes to building or planning for a business I'm very efficient. I'm the brains of my business prosperity, but when it comes to convincing customers to buy from my shop I'm really bland.
If you employ me as the marketer in your company you're sure to have an F. I do well in management, but sometimes I feel like I need to boss the marketing sector too.
I'm losing my respect as a semi boss, my employees can't even look up to me and say to my customers "na my oga be dat, meet am make ona reason weda you fit buy".
Another problem is I want to build that connection between my customers as well, I just don't want to be behind the scene

yeah I’ve thought of this but my employees are not certified marketers too. My business isn’t really large scale and most of my employees don’t have marketing skills. You can call them sales girls and sales boys, but I prefer to call them employees…

Employ someone with a rigid marketing ability for the time being and learn while at it. Work on your confidence level and learn persuasion skills too, if you can. The earlier, the better.

If you’re okay with how things are running presently, leave your employees and enroll in a marketing course.

But if it’s affecting your business, or you don’t have time to for the course. I’m afraid you might have to let go of one employee and get a marketer (hustler).

But I will advise you to learn yourself, you can find these courses on Udemy or YouTube. It will improve your knowledge and confidence.

I'm selling building materials and no, I've not worked under someone before. I'm currently running my parents former business
