A picture of a 10 year-old boy identified as Bello Abdulkadir Ado, holding a gun as a security personnel sparked reactions online.

It was gathered that the boy is a member of a Vigilante group in Safana local government area of Katsina State.

The picture which was shared on social media generated a lot of mixed reactions as many were tagging it as child abuse.

See wahala.......How can they hand over arms to a 10year old boy to fight as a vigilante.....The gun is even taller than the boy standing plus how does he know who and who not to shoot,He is even wearing the uniform as kaftan,probably a shirt of one them was given to him......This country matter ehn e tire person no be small!!!

Now I see why we should separate because no sane community or parent will allow their underage child to hold a gun not to talk of using it for any reason.

The boy is to kill what? Fellow human being, animal or I should just believe it's a toy gun

To start killing rat or dog or what?

So his parent will be happy if he comes home with news like daddy I kill someone today or I almost got killed by someone today.

Only in war we expect to see this kind of anomaly of recruiting underage (which is considered as one of war crime)

Because u mentioned self defense is another reason why we have to breakup cos an average fulani reasonings does not correlate. This is so wrong. The use of child soldiers has long been aborted and condemned in the UN charter on combat. It definitely will affect the child in the long and short run both psychologically and socially. He could also be easily manipulated by his commanders to carry out illegal orders since he doesn't fully understand the concept of good and evil.

Monogammy and the vulture grilling zombie should also be on the front lines too, it's not enough to be screaming darling daddy and sai baba online when your country needs you
