That is almost guranteed to make them developed world soon. See Britain, Hong Kong, South Korea, China, Taiwan.

Bangladesh (Dhaka) are clothing the world. Veitnam are supplying the bicyles. These countries in one generation will escape poverty.

If Bangladesh repeat the last 10yrs - I dont see why not - they will be 1 trillion economy.

Among South Asian economies, Bangladesh is touted as a rising star. In 2019, its per capita income was $1,856—substantially higher than Pakistan’s $1,285 and only $250 less than that of India. In 2020, Bangladesh might have edged ahead of India because it registered a growth rate of 2.4 percent whereas India’s GDP shrank by 7.3 percent. Various indicators of human development also show significant improvement: life expectancy in 2019 was 72.6 years, a gain of over 7 years since 2000; mean years of schooling were up from 4.1 to 6.2; and the country’s human development index (HDI) value had climbed from 0.478 in 2000 to 0.632 in 2019. Bangladesh’s HDI ranking is now 133rd out of a total of 189 countries, still relatively low but better than both Pakistan (154) and Nepal (142).

A typical Bangladeshi garment worker takes home less than $40 a month, a wage that Pope Francis has condemned as akin to slave labor. Their minimum wage was last raised -- by 80% -- in November 2010....The announcement came as the death toll from the country's worst industrial disaster climbed to 1,126, 19 days after a nine-storey garment factory complex in a suburb of Dhaka caved in and buried thousands of workers.

In the past decade they've gone into aquaculture big. Fyi,this is one of the best bottom up approaches to reduce rural poverty. Its also ideal as Bangla is basically a giant flood plain with some NE parts getting as much as 5500 mm a year.
