Many of us in Nigeria probably don't know what a coyote is. But over in northern America, quite a good number of people are contemplating keeping it as pet.

Hmmmm why would any sane person keep a wild animal as a pet...

the question is "do we have a coyote here?"

To be frank, it’s not advisable to but you can if you’re capable and you have the time for it.
-Just like dogs they can be tamed but they remain wild animals (I.e all their behaviors and temperament are Still intact, in other words they’re just like time bomb waiting for the right moment to explode) Main reason why some tamed animals,for example ‘ tamed lions’ still end up killing their owners/handlers, most cases are not intentional the animal doesn’t know the strength of its owner and would see he/she as one of its kind,and in the process of trying to play/show care like they do with members of their group in the wild,they end up killing their owners. Experts in the field of wild animals will tell you “just because they’re tamed doesn’t make em harmless,they’re still very much equipped with all their killing weapons (teeths,claws e.t.c)” but if you know all these and can avoid being accidentally mauled by the animal, feel free to give it a go but it’s not advisable to do so as they’re tagged wild animals for a reason
