PUMA donated free kits to Nigeria athletes, officials rejected it simply because there won't be money to siphon and they rejected it in hope the authority will release money for those kits so that looting and stealing continues.

There seems to be no hope of redeeming this country so soon as every player is a potential THIEF waiting for proper moment to display their talent.

It would be so gracious of the Senate to legalize looting in this country.

The problem is that the officials don't even have any iota of shame in them. They bought from outside at an expensive rate just to make money for themselves, now the medal winning athletes have lost financial support and endorsement from PUMA.

They know collecting that kits is tantamount for them not seeing money to siohone from public money that's why they rejected it.

You see, when we say the country is too big for one man to rule they refused.

If PUMA donate such , is that not a cut cost, rather they prefer to buy using public funds just to enrich their sinky pockets.

The Athletics federation of Nigeria worked against the success of the athletes. They did everything to ensure no one comes with a medal. First they refused to submit the required test results of 10 athletes that are competing and next they they did not provide Olympic kits to every contestant.

And some people called it a zoo and we are cursing them.

It seems you don't understand how it works.

When a sportswear manufacturer like Puma, Nike or Adidas has a contract with you, they supply you with those kits like you saw there. Now, if Nigeria receives those kits, Nigerian officials will have nothing to buy so they won't make some money but Nigeria will gain. But as they rejected the kits, they will collect money from Ministry of sports, spend part of it to purchase the kits and keep the rest (E.g collect $1m for the kits, purchase $500k kits, declare that they bought them for $1m and keep $500k for themselves).
