ECWA Decries Forceful Take Over Ungoverned Land Spaces In Nigeria By Criminals by Racoon(op):
The 68th General Church Council of Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) National leadership has raised alarm over general state of Insecurity in parts of Nigeria, describing the current forceful take over of ungoverned spaces by criminal elements and non state actors as regrettable and condemnable.

The ECWA leadership led by it’s President Rev Dr. Stephen Baba Panya after 5 days brainstorming at the international conference Hall of the Church Headquarters in Jos, in a Communique issued to newsmen at the weekend, expressed regrets that from what they have observed, Criminal Elements seems to be in control in the country vis-a-vis the seeming inability of government is decisively deal with the menace as well as protect the citizenry from the prowling merchants of death.

The ECWA General council Dr Panya said were worried over Attacks on Christian communities in the Middle Belt, the North and other parts of the country and the needles of destruction of lives and properties by Fulani Jihadists militia and Boko Haram.

“The council cautions government against politicization of security matters”

They equally condemned forceful occupation of natives farmlands and systematic genocide being executed against Christians and other autochthonous communities through out Nigeria, especially in the middle belt region.

“This is typically orchestrated through continuous raid on Christian farming Communities with lethal weapon s often in the dead of the night, wherein thousands of our people have been murdered in cold blood and their lands expropriated by the marauding aggressors”

The ECWA ChurchGeneral council also expressed regrets over the neglect of Internally displaced persons camps especially in the middle belt and other parts of the country.

According to them, the prolonged homelessness of the IDPs camps has made them to start feeling hopeless and called on federal government to ensure the return of these IDPs to their ancestral patrimonies. The ECWA church general council also raised concern over the on going agitation s for secession and restructuring in parts of the country.

According to them, these agitation s for restructuring and secession among various the various aggrieved nationalities of the Nigerian state were borne out of perturbing systematic injustices which are rife in the polity.

They called for the implementation of the resolution s of the 2014 national conference, warning that the non Implementation of these resolutions reached at that conference would cause more harm than whatever good the non Implementation was supposed to serve.

The jihad is still ongoing. Imagine the genocide these killers are perpetuating in Jos since last weekend.

So the land use act of 1978 cede the autonomous control of land to the state governors and not FG again? Are the state governors in charge of even the police let alone the armed forces(Army, Air Force or Navy)? Why are you always acting like this?

Is Ortom not the security officer for Benue state? Why can't he also ban open grazing?

This regime has only one goal and agenda which is to wipe indigenous people from their lands and hand it over to their cousins and terrorist brothers from Sahel, but they have failed.
People of the South wake up, the jihadism agenda is real.
