Jones4190: Yes, I'm a Biafran. At a point I wanted to call you BMC, then I realize may be (just maybe) you are another victim of a quota Education system. I won't waste my time typing an epistle like you did but: 1. Have you studied (not read) the revolutionary government's speech after the so called Igbo coup? Please do. 2. Who told you Zik and Okpara was left on purpose? They escaped the coup! The then Information minister was an Igbo too, he was also killed (with his family) along side those corrupt politicians (which where unfortunate enough to have more Yorubas and Hausas in it). Study Nzokwu's official statement for reference. 3. Have you asked yourself how many lands and territories did the Igbos forcely occupied in the Niger Delta before and after Isaac Boro was arrested? This is unlike the Jihad going on today across every ethnic nationality in Nigeria. 4. Were you also aware that the proposed islamization of Nigeria by the then Sultana of Sokoto was one of the major reasons the coup was conducted? Oga, Igbos have been saving this country from the hands of the bloodthirsty Fulanis and their British pay masters from time immemorial. Biafrans are the only reason Nigeria has not been turned to another modern Turkey or Iran. 3 Likes |

buckeyemedia: Ndi-Igbo are pacesetters-We are one the most richest tribes in Africa, most travelled ,industrious, well educated-We refuse to live in the capital nation of poverty, ruled by nomads and terrorists. All we are asking ,remember we are not begging ,any tribe to join us ,all we are doing is to open up, the eyes of all indigenous Nigerians, to the impunities committed by the terrorists invading Normadic tribe (The Fulanis)-Futhermore we need a restructuring, or a referendum, to decide a way forward for all indigenous people in Nigeria-We all cant continue like this -Nigeria doesnt favor all indigenous Nigerians. THE Minister of Justice and Solicitor-General of Alberta in Canada Kelechi Madu has slammed the governments of Nigeria . The Igbo and other ethnic groups in Nigeria, who were calling for Nigeria to be renegotiated, were not seeking violence or war. “Nigeria is burning, and the people of Nigeria, except those who are holding the country down want out. You cannot destroy the hope and aspiration of a people destined for greatness and expect them to bow down in servitude. “You cannot destroy a generation of people and expect them to not fight for their freedom. The power of the gun, state sponsored terrorism will not achieve peace, or the preservation of Nigeria,” Madu wrote. He said those agitating to cede from Nigeria were in search of peace, progress and the advancement of their people. “They seek fairness, safety, equity and justice for their people. They seek the opportunity for their children to grow up and achieve their God-given abundant potential. They seek the rise of a people with the work ethic, intellect and capacity to be a truly global super power on the continent of Africa. They seek dignity over inhumane treatment. They seek life over death,” the statement said. He said if reports suggesting that Kanu was abducted in Kenya, with the active collaboration of the Kenyan government led by President Uhuru Kenyatta were true, then both Nigeria and Kenya violated international law and the rule of law. “The Attorney General of Nigeria Abubakar Malami is a disgrace to the rule of law, and not worthy to be an officer of the court. He has shown himself to be a bigot who does not understand what it means to live in a pluralistic society governed by the dictates of the rule of law,” the statement added. Madu said actions taken since the inception of the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration had not been in Nigeria’s best interest and urged the Nigerian government to ensure Kanu’s safety and immediate release. He also called on the international community, and in particular the governments of US, UK, Canada, Germany, Israel and Europe ‘to use all their power, including diplomacy’ to ensure the safety and release of Kanu. The minister further called on the leaders of these nations to “ensure real consequences for this arbitrary violations of internationally accepted democratic norms and rules that govern civilized people, but above all, the arbitrary violations of Mazi Kanu’s fundamental human rights.” He also urged friends of the black race to unite and liberate the people of Nigeria from what he described as “bondage” and from the claws of “corrupt and inept politicians who have no business being near the corridor of Nigeria’s political power.” 2 Likes

Emergingnation: You people are a bewitched lot. There's nothing absolutely nothing like Biafra, you are just wasting your time. Biafra is even not your original idea. The only thing that can help you is if Nigeria breaks by itself. Even then, the dot may crumble to pieces. There is nothing you can do, and your leaders have sold out. You blame leaders from other regions, but your leaders are the worst, the cheapest. They easily and cheaply sell out to Northerners. But your blind eyes would neither see that nor your dull and cheap minds consider it. 2 Likes |

BJanta: Igbo of Nigeria The Igbos of Nigeria are Africa’s most energetic and most entrepreneurial people. They are not ancient traders but emerged much more recently with the onset of the British colonialism. Through sheer grit, hard work and a talent for spotting new opportunities, they emerged as the dominant traders and business leaders as Nigeria raced towards independence in the mid 50s. The Igbo dominance of Nigeria’s commerce and industry was one of the reasons that led to the Biafran war. Today you can find Igbo traders all over the world from South Africa, Kenya, Ivory Coast, China, Japan, the United States, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Ireland, Vietnam, India amongst others. They are mostly merchants although a significant number have diversified into industry, banking, and transportation and service businesses. Researchers have identified the Igbos along with the Ashkenazi Jews and the Swiss Protestants as the people with the greatest achievement motivation in the world. 1 Like

PARADIZEPRIEST: So protesting as a citizen or citizens is tantamount to backwardness. Which community secondary school did you drop out from. You shouldn't be afraid of the people uniting against the political class, now it's peaceful but time is running out. When the implosion starts, common people will die. But unfortunately they need this common people to be relevant. |
