Please Nairalanders help a brother, not sure if this is the right place to post this.

I would want anyone with proper information on the subject to educate me.

I want to know if there's any functioning Iron Ore mining furnace in Nigeria.

It's urgent please.

There is a multi billion naira Iron ore mining company located in Gujeni, Kaduna state, 19 km from Abuja. The mining plant is situated on over 500 hectares of land with an expected workforce of 2,000 workers made up of Nigerians and 300 expatriates. The plant is under construction and the first phase is about to be completed and will resume operations by January 2022. A massive national workforce will be required and experienced hands are also required to support the Iron Ore Processing Project to run effectively.

God bless you Sir

There is a mega iron ore mining furnace owned and operated by the Chinese in Asa, Abia state. outskirt of Aba.

Many iron smelting furnaces at the Ikorodu industrial axis Odogunyan where they melt scrap iron materials down and convert them to building/construction rods. I don’t know if this is what you mean

There isn't a functional iron smelting plant currently in Nigeria, in fact iron was smelted industrially only in Delta steel company warri, which closed a long time ago, there is a direct iron smelting plant being built by Indians in kaduna as stated above, but the current climate in Nigeria means it will be a long shot. The closes one can get to iron smelting in Nigeria right now is the steel recycling Mills around the country or the likes of Nigerian Foundry or African steel company
