Let me add that if the officiating today is what we should expect this coming season, then we may be in for a long season with the officials. The referee swallowed his whistle and allowed both teams to physically slug it out. The match did not have too many stoppages as a result of fouls which is good if you ask me and if it is balanced on both sides.

I think balogun is in the first team
He have a new number too
I know, I mean for him to be registered among the main players for the new season, one can't be too sure. Though I expect he will be.

Balogun is already in the first team and should get some serious minutes if we have a concerned coach. I am not sold on Nketiah, I think he should be sold or loaned but at this point, I won't mind giving him some minutes to see if he can find anything near a goal scoring form.
I think brighton wan buy am for 20m sha

I care less about such in a preseason though. What i care about is the final third threat which was abysmal. White did okay though.

In their current form, none of Lacazette or Auba can guarantee us 20 goals. Our attack especially in the final 3rd remains same.. nothing different. Nketiah should move on from Arsenal in my opinion and I hope Brighton take him..

I hope going into the season the fans will allow Saka concentrate on playing football and do away with the banners and posters with his name on it talking about racism. I feel it might be distracting for him to have his name on posters every matchday.

Willock to Newcastle
Here we go 25m ain't bad for him
Personal terms yet to be agreed
We need to clear out some deadwoods
Terminate kola contract to join fenerbache
Loan out bellerin to inter with option to buy then get trippier
Sell nketiah and amn
Buy either of Silva/Madison and Neto as backup keeper
We need cm (aurora/bissouma/berge)

This madness I just keep reading about Arsenal.being interested in Tammy Abraham angry

While some people are complaining about Auba not doing anything other than scoring tap-ins, the club then decides the best and right thing to do is bring in a certain Tamuno undecided

E just be like say Arteta and the board no get good plans for us this season at all

I love the fact that he is a forward thinking midfielder with energy, lets wait and see him in real games but I was quite impressed with his showing. I am happy you made this comment about Pepe because if na me make am e go be like say na because I like the guy.lol. He finished last season strongly and seems to have carried his form into the preseason. He can have a good season if he continues especially with his confidence level and keeping things simple.

As for Mari? Make I keep quiet because if I start now, dem go remind me say Saliba insult our ego driven coach Arteta. Saliba would have provided us a strong option to evaluate for that 2nd CB position.
Saliba is not an option to Mari. I think Gabriel will man that position this season.

We will not sign Abraham. He is too expensive at 40m when the likes of Cunha is less than 25m and Vlahovic is about 35m. But Arteta and Edu knows.

Defence wins you league.

But jokes apart. If you want to achieve anything in life, the first place to start building is your fence (defense).

That's why good teams attack from the back and defend from the front.

That's why Liverpool paid millions for a goalkeeper and a defender to win the league and CL. Same did Man City and Chelsea.

That's what Ferguson and Mohammed Ali believed.

I know some people will misconstrue this and start arguing blindly.
It's not saying only defense will win you league, or don't build attack.

It is saying the best method is to start with strengthening defense first before attack.
Lies!!!

All the club you mentioned above bar Atletico Madrid never strengthened defence first before attack.

They already had strong attack and were doing well in the league only to add a formidable defender as the icing on the cake to remain dominant.
Atletico took the other route and it took them longer to get any trophy,(they had to invest in their attack to clinch anything) the other teams I mentioned above were at least getting one trophy or the other before splashing heavily on defense.

You need to understand that it’s more difficult integrating a midfielder or attacker into a team than a defender or goal keeper. You eat your big frog first!

That's when the attack is dangerous enough to oppositions but the majority opined the defence is to be sorted out fess before the attack to balance the team.

We should just get a chair to relax and see our defenders bagging goals...grin

I didn't make the point. Sir Alex Ferguson did. Guess you know more than him.

I agree with you.

I hope Brighton buys Nketiah... even for less than 20m... Then get a good striker and expect the best from Balogun too.

I honestly dont know which AM they wanna buy now, Odegaard is out, Madisson is going nowhere, Silva wants to leave England altogether, he prefers going to Barcelona and Willock sale is near completion. We seriously need one.

I think Kola should be allowed to join Fenerbache even for free. I dont see his usefulness at Arsenal
We can also sell AMN and let Torreira go.

If Bellerin departure is sure then we get a replacement...maybe Trippier

This in my opinion is the minimum we can do before transfer deadline.
