When the useless Buhari regime diverted international flights from Abuja airport some years back to Kaduna airport due to runway maintenance of the Abuja airport, adequate security was provided on the Kaduna-Abuja Highway. For more than two months there was no single case of Kidnapping there.

The overwhelming majority of victims of Kidnapping in Nigeria are the poor masses and their poor school children. That is the reason for the "I don't care attitude" of our leaders. They have adequate soldiers and police to kill Shia civilians but they do not have adequate security forces to protect Nigerians.

So kidnapping politicians will turn to freedom fighting in Nigeria rather than talking of free,fair,credible elections,also allowing the local government administrations to conduct their elections not by state electoral commission where governors and their family members decide who becomes a local government chairman and councillors.Sometimes ago a governor's family was collecting #2m naira from each LGA in one of the states in south-south for 8 years.
