How this nonsense will ever contribute to Nigeria's socio-economic growth is anyone's guess. What has pilgrimages to Makkah and Israel, etc., achieved corporately for the Nigeria state. Nothing? Has it changed previous leaders' disposition towards good governance? NO! The amount of money wasted, annually, on pilgrimage is more than enough to fix dilapidated school buildings.

Serious countries are signing deals for improving trade, manufacturing, etc, or gearing their societies for robotics, renewables, and AI. Nigeria is busy improving pilgrimage destinations and will now enrich Jordan (who will benefit from all the tourism business from this deal).
