Persil Non Bio. Its best to go for the biggest size, 130 washes. A bit pricey buying it the first time but it lasts like kilode so if you check how long you'll use it, then you'll see that it's worth it in the long run.

Other options but I think more expensive than Persil is Dreft and Ivory.



But if you can't afford Persil, then buy Sunlight or any detergent you can afford, but make sure you rinse baby clothes thoroughly. You actually should no matter the detergent but more if using a general detergent.

I already have a three year old daughter and hubby and I felt it was time to give her a sibling .
I wanted a birthday mate and so having in mind my edd will fall on August 19,by November last year during my ovulation,I and hubby went in marathon one week wink wink....
So by December we got a positive pregnancy test and so the journey began..
I delivered on Thursday 29/7/2021 by 7am with edd 19/08/2021 at exactly 37 weeks.
It was a vaginal birth with planned elective induction...
I have a very stressful and mentally tasking job and it was becoming very hard to continue working,I didn't want to start my maternity leave early as I wanted to spend all the time I could with my baby before resumption.. pelvic pain was too much...and commuting to and fro work was something else ..infact I had to be using bike to get home because of traffic even on the day before I gave birth
So on Wednesday night after I came back from work by 8pm as earlier planned with my midwife..I took a shower kissed my hubby and 3 year old bye bye and entered a waiting cab to the clinic.
I got there by 10.30 pm and after I did some preliminary check up like bp etc,my membrane were stripped and I was given a tablet to put under my tongue..then I was told to walk around the premises for some time.

I had already started having contractions all thru the day but by midnight the contractions became extremely strong and I spoke in tongues ,prayed held the nurses on their cloth,begged for medication,the pain was intense.. chai...
My cervix was checked regularly to see how far it was dilating....that thing can pain sha.....and the dilation was so so slow....by 3am thereabout,my water was broken and the contractions and pain entered another level....I threw up like 3 times....all the sharwama I ate that evening land on top of the nurses....by 5 am I was taken to the delivery room when the baby head was becoming visible and I started having the urge to push.
However I was checked and it was found out that a part of the cervix was not soft enough...I don't know the medical jargon.but the koko is that I couldn't push yet if not I will have cervical tear which is different from perennial tear and is very hard and painful to repair.
I was like how can you send me to the stream and not tell me not to drink water....I'm having urge to push and you say make I no push...ahh God...
Long story short,by 7 am she was able to use hand shift the cervix small and guided my 3kg baby out who had cord around her neck .thank God the cervix no tear but my whole perineal from vulva to anus to part of clitoris tear ...blood everywhere..
But the most important thing.my daughter was healthy and crying loudly...my placenta was delivered and I was stitched up....that one was another level of pain.
I'm sure all the houses on the street would have heard my voice..
She was cleaned up,checked and I was given my rhogan injection and was discharged on Friday morning.
We are going to be two weeks old by Thursday,I'm doing very well,my tear is healing nicely with regular sitz bath ,my baby is doing well,she is a very easy baby...her cord has already fallen off and she is eating well .

I don't know what to do. I am not comfortable or happy at all

This is a common symptom of pregnancy, please ask your doctor if you can take bisacodyl, it’s a stool softener, that’s what I take cause my own constipation is out of this world.

Thanks Cappo. They're doing great. 4th Trimester is real. The breast sucking is on another level, hubby jokes that my breast is now very small and I'm not doing exclusive ooo.

But I thank God, they're really easy babies just like I prayed for. I pray God continues to make it easy for me. Amen.

Good day mamas,it's been a while here. Am 21 weeks this week and I just want to gist you about what life has been with me.
I run a program in a health school and exam started last week so the jerking and sleeplessness started,mmmmm my people,on Saturday I became a zoombie and started seeing a shadow of myself. Hubby warned me o,he even said he's not particular about my result this semester,I should just take care of myself but the stubborn me didn't hear. I wasn't sleeping for 3 hours per night and I did this for a week. On Saturday,I couldn't see,o couldn't walk. I took my routine anti malaria(fansidar) and a new level of morning sickness started,I vomitted six time in a day. I couldn't go to church and I had two exams on Monday.God saw me through but I can't forget the experience. I just finished exam today.

N.B- team December,who has seen the baby's sex? Am going for scan tomorrow and I wish the sex will be a girl because I have two boys already.

34weeks and one day, Alhamdulillah.

The way I feel these days, I have decided to stop going to site at work, I went yesterday and was so exhausted.

I feel some tingling in my vagina when I pee, like a short sharp sting inside I don't know how best to describe it.

Still got 6weeks to EDD, may Allah make it easy for us all.

I was just about typing what one of our mamas posted. Before this pregnancy, with a genotype of AA, I usually have malaria every 2months because i wasn't doing enough to prevent malaria. Since i got preggy, for the first 5months, I didn't use malaria drug or pcm. These are the steps I take:

Use insecticide regularly or better still mosquito net.
I caution hubby a lot to enter the house quick because we don't have door net. This wasn't working effectively so I started shutting my bedroom door (ALWAYS SHUT)
When leaving the house after 6PM, i'm not a fan of repellents so I wear leggings, socks and take cardigans incase it gets cold.
Taking my routine drugs. I read somewhere that it boosts the immune system.
Reduce palmoil intake.
Reduce stress
I carry my umbrella everywhere I go.
Recently started taking fansider monthly prescribed by the doctor.
If you have catarrh and sore throat frequently like me, reduce your cold water intake, bath with warm water and avoid dust/smoke.
Take more fruits, wash and peel your fruits at home.
Check the kind of water you are drinking. You may need another source of drinking water.
