Why not call a banker in let's say ZenithBank to help track down a case in another bank if it were that easy!?

All you need to do is to be good. Just be good. You never know who you did that goodness to, what the person will be tomorrow.
One day, they will make a post 'thank God I am now a banker, thank God I am now a Pilot, thank God I am this and I am now that!'
What these means is that you have so many people to call in for favor, who will gladly and immediately swing into action for you.

I understood what u said bro, but scam can't be the new normal on Nairaland. It surely can't. This is how we normalize nonsense in this country and expect it to get better. This guy has been scamming people since 2018 and by now he may be feeling invincible and he needs to be stopped.
My little advice, use escrow or if u have someone that can check or collect it for u from the seller in his/her state or better yet buy from Lagos if u are in lagos, so u can touch, check and confirm what u are buying to avoid had I know. Make we shine our eyes pls..

I am not here to cast anyone... I am just very to drop my 2 cent opinion regarding this issue.

First of all... The money might not still be in the said account because as a scammer that he is he would have withdraw the amount instantly and hence no money will be in that account.

To the person saying that the money is still in the account that you need his number to call him to know more about recovering his money... That is a blunt lie because we both know there is no money in that account... You just want to try and collect more money from him as mobility funds etc...

To you femiblacky ...sorry for the scam you got your self in but if you are going to do anything.. Do it your self... Go to the bank.. Get police report etc and take it up ur self. Most people here will use this opportunity to claim saint in order to help you.. But deep down them self want scam you.

Wow! Had it been I knew this when a First Bank account I used to operate got wiped clean by criminals who robbed me of my phone using only the sim linked to the account.

Funny thing was that even I myself cannot transfer using the SIM only, I can only cash money when I walk into the bank.

But the criminals got 50,500 from the account using a POS vendor, how they did it the bank chose not to tell me till now.

Here's something for anyone that might need it because scam here and there isn't a good thing and no one is really safe.

If you are scammed, do the following yourself, you don't need to ask anyone to help you do it.

Werepe, ewe dandan, sigidi kan, eyo atare 7, oruko or image of the thief or scammer.

Grand the werepe and the leaf, pour it onto the image, if you have only the name, write it in a white paper, pour the powder on it. Wrap with white and black thread. Now tie it to the chest of the sigidi. By 1am midnight, Put the atare into your mouth and start chewing and then say whatever you want God to do on the person and set it ablaze.

You'll get results within 72hrs inshaallah.

The account is fraudulent, no bvn, no address. Only picture and phone number. I have instructed he gets picked up whenever he steps into any branch.
