By this statement Nigeria is going to have two president from two region, because an average northerner is not ready to relinquish power to any region except themselves, but the yorubas believe they have served and need compensation two ,igbos don't seem to be interested for now ,so how are we going to settle this now? |

Fiscus105:You are very funny. Who told you they are down? Are they the only corrupt politicians in Nigeria? Would you have voted for any of them if they weren't down according to you? Did yorubas vote for Obj? Did they not malign and discredit him in 1999 till date? |

Yorubas should stop this barefaced tribalism that has taken the South nowhere. What leadership did the Yorubas have that made Obasanjo President twice without winning the South West or which leadership did the Niger Delta have that made Jonathan President. Whenever Igbos are involved, the criteria becomes utopian and out of this world, why? The refusal by Yorubas to see reason to support their ever supportive Southern neighbors will sink the entire South politically. Obasanjo was President twice with the support of the same Igbos that Yorubas prefer to hate, while Tinubu and his brothers in the West resisted him for 8 years, yet they want to teach Igbos leadership. The North is waiting to play their game in 2023 since we have only fools in the South. 1 Like |

fergie0o1:my friend I do t know if you are Igbo or not but I spent 5 years in abakaliki and 1 year in IMO state so I know a little about Igbo politics. The case of Ebonyi is a typical one. The other part always says they are not real Igbo because of their different dialect. Afikpo language is different to abakaliki, nkalagu is different onu ebony and so forth. They are also the poorest one in the east. A friend from IMO will say " those people they are not part of us"Also IMO people will be telling Anambra that their dialect is superior vice versa. Another reason is that the Igbo people have never had a strong political party that represent their interest like ACN that represent the interest of Yoruba. This is one of the reason Yoruba was felling belonging and represented. The case ipob will also jeopardize their chance, no wonder Yoruba quickly reject Igbo case. Mind you am not condemning Igbo but just telling you what might block the chance of igbo. The governors of the east know all this that's why they are also rejecting ipob idea. |

Fools! How about looking for a Nigerian president, instead of Ibo, Hausa, Yoruba, Ijaw etc president Obasanjo is yoruba, and president for 8 years, what special benefit did yorubas get. GEJ was president for 5/6 years, yet the road to his hometown was not built. Hausas have been president both military and civilian more than any other region in the country, yet they're the poverty and illiterate capital of Nigeria. All of them only enriched themselves, their families and friends. When will you people learn. You've been playing the same ignorant tribal politics since 1960, where has it gotten you. Gandollaar: Oga get it straight and not twisting it, though obvious you were still very young then. Yoruba had 2 of their prominent sons to choose from, (lesson learned) Yoruba outwisted and show supremcy on all others tribes in the south coupled that we forced north to relinquish power. 2. When it's 2003 , Yoruba vs buhari, Yoruba fully supported his own son. |

Because the old people in this country like Ogunlewe refuse to understand what the Igbo want now, Nigeria continues to prove strongheaded, thereby getting it wrong. Simply put, the Igbo want out of this country. The Igbo want its own country. What's so hard to get in this. If Nigeria continues to ignore us, the outcome go choke them oo. fergie0o1: |

eldoradoxx:The leadership that won president for obasanjo is the same leadership that won election for Abiola. Yoruba stood up to fight for their right and the other south joined them. Obasanjo was used to settle scores. Obasanjo won in the south west for his second tenure. 1 Like |
