Since Batman and the flash played a key role in securing the arrest of the suicide squad, why did they disappear when the enchantress was creating havoc?

Because flash and batman have their own separate movies.

or because they have their own cities to protect? Or maybe Batman was busy assembling members of the Justice League, because Enchantress is a joke compared to Darkseid.

Or may be it's probably the same reason Captain America and the Avengers, didn't come to assist Iron Man, when the Mandarin threatened the president of the U.S.

It was all over the news so Captain America, SHIELD and members of The Avengers must have seen it, so why didn't they come charging to assist Iron Man?

Oh wait, he's Iron Man and he can handle it himself. Lol.

I love the opening with the infected monkeys. Such a unique, unsettling way to start a zombie movie. The cinematography is insane, it is incredibly tense, and artfully combines psychological horror with traditional monster scares. Definitely one of my top five fave zombie movies ever.

Don Cheadle is a don. Never knew he was this good. Shown me his versatility back to back with Space Jam and this. Thumps up.
Brendan Fraser, Benicio, Jon Hamm and the rest of the cast didn't disappoint. Julia Fox looking good. We need more of her films. Seems to have added some weight.

It was a slow burn but progresses more interestingly in the second half. The cast and the dialogue complimented each other.

Not good enough reasons. It's already established that DCEU movies (apart from Nolan and Zack Snyder's projects) have little to zero continuity with one another.

So the Avengers were not formed in iron man 3? Or Cap 2? Or Thor 2? Or Dr Strange 1?

The avengers were formed shortly before the events in Iron Man 3 took place. The Avengers were not able to help for the following reasons.

- The event took place in the span of 8 hours, hence could be next to impossible to rally the Avengers in such short space of time.
- Thor was chilling in Arsgard and effectively cut off from earth, and wouldn't have been able to teleport to earth to help Tony while the technology which creates the rainbow bridge is damaged.
- The Hulk likely spends his time far away from civilization as possible and due to the window being too short, getting his attention would have been challenging. Besides, he's not exactly known to be subtle. The last thing Tony needs his Hulk smashing his way through a problem that should be better served by an healthy pinch of subtlety.
- Captain America, Black Widow and Hawkeye as SHIELD operatives were likely away on secret assignments hence couldn't have make time for Iron Man, considering the fact that the window was too short.

Man, you don’t need all this long explanations at all, they couldn’t help simply because it’s not their movie, some movies do give reasons though, like Spider-Man FFH did.
