He tells her it's okay but I he thinks Pere sees him as a competition and though he and Maria put him up for eviction, he think it's not personal for Pere. It's just a competition. That he feels the cooking is a strategy for him but it's not. That it is who he is. That he doesn't like waking up and being lazy all day, that he likes to do something, clean etc.

Whitemoney told her that he thinks Pere sees him as a healthy competition and tries to get him worked up but he knows how to control his emotion that's why when he tried to get under his skin yesterday, he walked away.
