At some point, the Afghans have to wake up and realise that the US is not going to be there forever. If they want a modern society they have to fight for it.

Every damn problem in the middle east is as a result of western invasion. What were they looking for there in the first place.
US pulling out of Afghanistan is the best thing. If the Afghan government couldn't withstand the Taliban, it means they are not strong enough to be in charge.
Countries should give the Taliban conditions that they respect human rights and do away with their extreme laws in order for them to be recognised. That's the way forward.

Trump even if he was still there was going to still withdraw troops, and the same thing would have happened.

Because no American leader is ready to sanction deploying troops to Afghanistan indefinetly.

I agree the US must focus on their nation. Previous presidents went into wars they shouldn't have. And now, China and Russia blindly support Taliban just to beat the US. And this will continue. This is a weakness the US has shown. And a lesson is that Muslim extremists are stubborn, and force doesn't work on them. The power of the US is gradually reducing. The whole of middle east will not listen or be scared of their threats again cos the Taliban has got the last say after these years.

The main issue I have with the US is abandoning their loyal informants. I think someone has spoken to them and they should start lifting them. Let them give asylum to as many as possible. But the issue again is lifting terrorists. They must scrutinize very well and lifet only those who work for them and not terrorists.

I am not afraid of Talibans or Boko Haram in Nigeria. It will only make the south break from the north easily. If the north accept them, they should just form another nation with Niger. That's all. We will be ok in Jesus' name. Amen!
