Pls How Can I Invest My Child School Fees? by TeamLeader(m): 7:49am On Aug 18, 2021
Good morning guys.

straight to the point, my baby girl of 2 years is starting school next month and I thought of investing the money that I have at the moment which is about 200k budget for now that will continue to appreciate, interest wise so that the more she grows it's from the interest that will be using for the school fees. Even if am to add to the school fee na small.

So what kind of bank account or investment can I open please.

Abeg help me out because country hard.

TO SAY IT AS IT IS:
The money is very small to earn reasonable interest that would pay ur child school fees for now, even of u invest in Bonds or treasury bills,it'll still not get u any where.
But for one not to discourage u from this good intentions, pls, try to increase the money until it gets to a certain amount that will give u real value for ur money.

U need at least 2million naira or more to be able to pay up a child's fees per annum. And this could be on the current going rate on Tbill or fixed income.

That is also if ur child's fees is within the region of 40 or 45k per term.
