A video with pictures making rounds on the internet shows the moment an Afghan mother hands her suckling baby over a barbed fence to a US soldier as a last resort to save her baby's life.

This gives a glimpse into the feeling of hopelessness by Afghans since the takeover of the country by Taliban.

Recall that an Afghan National Footballer and others also hung helplessly to a departing airplane and later fell to their death.

There's definitely a humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan which the world shouldn't turn her back on.
