From this whole thing the only that really pieces me off was the lost of Bagram Air force base in Afghanistan. The initial agreement should have insisted on us keeping that base. That base is equivalent to 5 aircraft carriers right snack in the middle with proximity to China, Russia, Iran, and Pakistan. Apart from that ain't got no qualms they can keep $82B dollars of equipment. That's peanut to US annual Defense budget. Man that air force base alone is a big lost. Imagine just staging 10 B-52 planes there with full arrays of weapon that plane can carry would have served as a deterrent to any country that might have harbor any stupid thoughts including China.

This is another way to justify invading the Middle East in the coming years. So… I do agree with you, a big war is looming and Africa and the Middle East will be the testing ground for new terrible and precision weapons the world is yet to hear about. These weapons are non nuclear or chemical but they will cause destruction of unimaginable proportions. These things are done to keep both continents in check so they don’t develop and grow beyond needing the crumbs the west throws at them in the name of aid. They need these continents for their raw materials but they want to be the ones to explore, exploit and set prices. Some countries develop in times of war since necessity is the mother of invention but some countries will only regress when there’s no peace.
