Please everyone.
Do not forget to help me post my friend's ordeal on your WhatsApp Group.
He might be fortunate to retrieve his documents from the Red Toyota Corolla Driver.
He has gone to Wazobia FM, Bolt office & Uber office to lodge a complaint.

The document has been found.
Thanks guys.

Barbiturate:
I don't understand the rift about 200k weekly/monthly or the correlation with my predicament but with the attached earnings, I believe one can make btw 250-400k monthly, if one is diligent and hardworking without any police/lastma/vio/road safety issues. I would have made the same amount or almost yesterday if I hadn't faced the issue I faced.

It's well with everyone. We will be alright.

I'm at their Oshodi office
Mr Barb, Very sorry for your current situation. Be smart about it and you'd get your car back. Let me summarize the rift.

Clearly, you must have seen some dashboard screenshots of some drivers here. To them, it's a move to encourage others that it's possible to make certain figures per month( a position you've subscribed too) and which has never been an issue in my opinion. To this Group 1, emphasis is solely on the figures on the dashboard, with the idea that people should work hard. Anyone performing lower is termed lazy.

But another Group2 ( also made up of some subgroups with ideas not really in contrast to the major group) believes that specific amount made or displayed on that dashboard (200k,300k,or 400k) isn't the net income. Meaning you must have made expenses which you haven't deducted from that 200-400k. To this group, the actual profit is derived when you deduct these expenses and you're left with whatever. This group believes that detailed information should be provided in other to give new drivers and partners, a complete idea of what is involved in e-hailing.

Now, this is were you come in. Group 2 says that issues like yours won't be stated by members of Group 1. It's not deducted from the dashboard screenshots you see.

Modified
N. B, there were other issues promoted by different individuals(groups)

Peace.

*Important*

This is to inform those driving that Vehicles moving from IYANA ISOLO towards OSHODI through the service lane are no longer allowed.

The service lane has been declared ONE WAY from ASWANI JUNCTION towards DHL with effect from today August 24, 2021.

All vehicles going towards Oshodi should pass through Aswani / Emzor way.

Note that there's, NO SIGN DISPLAY to indicate its ONE WAY.

Please avoid been arrested by Law Enforcement Agents.

~~curled~~

So I guess its now official...Not permissible again.

To be clear: Iyana-Isolo towards Oshodi on the Aswani or Cway or DHL service lane is no longer two way traffic. It's now prohibited to drive one-way. So if u r coming from Iyana Isolo and going to airport road or Oshodi branch left into Aswani and connect Osolo way and burst out in 7&8 Bustop and continue your journey.
This way u will never fall prey by climbing the bridge and making that sharp left only to be stopped and milked by the MIB.

Unless this was an offline trip, I see no reason why you haven't posted the driver's name, phone number, plate number and whether the trip was on bolt or on uber. I have counted over 20 red Toyota corolla this morning alone, how am I supposed to know who to accost?
Post the trip details

Asking for 50k security deposit is easy, I see no reason asking for almost 2 weeks wages for a car a driver hasn't driven for even a km. No one knows the state of the car, suspension, battery, AC, engine etc. Post pictures of, and state of the vehicle.

This advert is vague

U made this post just to point out the group he belongs... grin
You, which group do u belong?
We r trying very hard to abate and diminish tension and unify one another; not create factions and groups.
It's okay to have different views and opinions on certain issues but not varying groups that will always oppose each other no matter the subject. What grouping will do is even when someone is doing well in d other group u will not rejoice with the person but u will rejoice when something bad happens. That has already happened this morning and should not be encouraged.
I like it when people oppose my views, they challenge my thinking and I learn more, it also helps me see from another perspective, but that not withstanding, we r all 'friends', we respect each other and we will still laugh and share moments. We can disagree again the next second but just on the particular subject not a perpetual this group VS this group kind of thing. This is for me and I sincerely hope that's how everybody is.
Sorry to say but this your post was pointless.

The victim boarded a wrong vehicle thinking the ride was for him. He alighted immediately he figured out . He's new in Lagos, i guess that contributed to the naivety.

Sorry to say but this your post was pointless.
You can simply state your points without insulting anyone. If There's an opinion in contrast to yours, it's maturity on your part to state your facts and move on.

Groups are formed when there's a similar ideology. It's left for you to defend what you believe in. This doesn't mean I should disrespect those opposing my views, either in words or actions.

I don't oppose or challenge logical and factual views. If you made sense with your statements and I relate to the facts, no problem. But if it Makes no sense to me, there's no need for me to insult you simply because your views ain't in tandem with mine.

Statements like the bolded are reasons why we have issues on this thread. For the very sanity of thread, don't use such words in your mentions when quoting me. If you don't like my views, simply point out the mistakes and move on.

Peace.
