The parents of my classmate in medical school went to the Saudi in the 80s . And they didn't convert .
They are back to Nigeria now .

We had a wave of movement to Saudi in the 80s too. This is the second wave .
This just shows the state of our economy.
Babangida and Buhari . 2 evil men destined to wreck Nigeria with their economic policies

Most people going to Saudi are not planning to stay forever .
Most would move to Europe , Canada or US from there. Saudi is just a stepping stone . Go figure !

Thank you for explaining it to the kid. We have a lot of kids on Nairaland with ignorant opinions on sensitive issues.
My God father worked in Saudi as a Doctor all his life and his son is currently also working there. They were and still are Christians.
