I am just confused how even the lockdown season of COVID-19 is more interesting than this.

They didn't sit down to plan at all and to think that there are some very rich sponsors like Guinness this season.

This is why Nothing works in Nigeria.
Lack of proper planning and if you look at it properly.
There wasn't supposed to be big brother naija this year but because of black man with greed, they still have to force it knowing fully well Nigerians will still watch even if the show is mediocre even when they know there was no proper arrangement in place.

Two things are the reasons why there is big brother this year.

1) Nigerians accepts mediocre
2) Greed of the black man ( the organisers)

And if you look at it critically again, you will see that those two points above are the major set back to Africa and black man in particular.

Actually it has nothing to do with Bbn holding this year or not, Bbn has held yearly for while now and has been very successful.

The problem of this year is simply poor preparation. And the success of luckdown season is the ironically the cause of this seasons failures. I will explain

Bbn lockdown was a forced economical experiment in the bbn where they had to do away with many things due to covid like ninjas and no of backstage suppliers and certain level of physical involvement bt because it was a first they were on their toes and prepared to compensate for any short falls and guess what it payed off and turned out a huge success despite the cuts made and even more revenue for the organizers. The lockdown hms are even one of the most successful.

So this season is another economical experiment self induced this time and they have completely relaxed and once again done away with more of the backstage preparations, suppliers and activities not because of covid now bt due to overconfidence or lackadaisical attitude with a touch of greed. It’s starting to show and backfire.
