Celtic has (Balogun and Joe Aribor) on their starting 11 for every game

So imagine taking away 2 or 3 more other African players from their teams along with these Nigerians for 3 or 4 games then imagine they have to quarantine again while their various leagues are still on going

So these teams are justified if they refuse to release the African players

NIGERIAN DEFENDER, LEON BALOGUN SLAMS SPORTS AUTHORITIES OVER POOR ADMINISTRATION

Nigeria’s Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has criticised the country’s sports authorities over the poor administration of the team.

Balogun expressed his grouse against Nigerian football administrators in an interview with “The Beautiful Game” podcast.

“You hear about other players and why can’t they not perform in the Super Eagles. We have to be honest, the infrastructure, we are not being provided with the best minerals to do our job,” Balogun said.

“It starts with pitches or it starts with accommodation but it goes on to pitches and all these kinds of things.

“And as I said I’m always quite outspoken, probably I know if some people hear that they might come after me but I don’t care because that’s just how it is.”

Nigeria is not on the UK red list at the moment. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/red-amber-and-green-list-rules-for-entering-england#red-list

However, the coach has put some players on standby in case that changes in future and we have to do without our UK based players.

For some reason, this team doesn't inspire confidence at all... Well, good luck to them.

I bet this is not unconnected with Leon Balogun's criticizing of the fools currently occupying the glasshouse weeks ago

Samuel Kalu had a fainting scare about two weeks ago.
I believe Simon Moses had a knock in his last game.

That effectively leaves us with only misfiring Musa as the winger on the list.

What is Shehu Abdullahi doing on the list? Why not remove him and add in Ejuke so we have more options on the wings?

I'm honestly surprised he was invited, I would rather he's permanently replaced by our by far better defenders from the local league.
