Run from what exactly? Ojukwu released awolowo from prison, just because Gowon immediately approached awolowo to make him finance minister after ojukwu released him from prison doesn't mean he Gowon released him
Go and read and stop this show of shame. Ojukwu have no power to release a federal prisoner. You have been told many lies.

How many times do we have to go about this argument?

The Itsekiri is the most useless set of people ever.

These people know they are originally from Ijebu and are the only people (other than the Fulani vermin) that are claiming ownership of the land they settled on citing a fraudulent bill of sale by one Urhobo wayo man.

This is the only thing they have to claim Warri even though the Urhobo wayo man that they claimed sold the land to them or allowed them to settle on it had no bearing towards granting anyone right of occupancy in any part of Warri especially the coastal fringes which were part of Ijaw land.
Ijebu migrated from SS to SW according to true history.
Itshekiri and ijebu dialet are similar till tomorrow so ijebu owned SS originally.I'll publish some papers when we're to acquire our land back

Which president? There was no president , ironsi was the most senior military officer when he became head of state in January 17 , he made ojukwu governor of eastern region on the 19 January,
when ironsi was killed the next in line was not Gowon but babafemi ogundipe Gowon took power and ojukwu never recognized him, Gowon took power in August 1 1966 it took him more than 3 weeks to organize himself cause he himself was afraid of being killed, ojukwu released awolowo from prison in August 3 , Gowon couldn't even organize himself in Lagos for 3 weeks, him and ojukwu never spoke during this time, how did he release awolowo who was under ojukwu without speaking to ojukwu? Who did Gowon call to release awolowo? Even to visit awolowo people needed permission to visit awolowo in prison, how did Gowon release him? Through who? Gowon never stepped a foot in eastern Region during that time, igbos were still been killed during that time, there was no northern soldier in the East , the east was completely under the authority of ojukwu who did not recognize Gowon as head of state

*How Azikiwe, an Ibo, deposed the grandfather of the new Olu Erejuwa III, who was re-instated by Awolowo, a Yoruba:*

The newly crowned Olu of Warri, Ogiame Erejuwa III, reversed the curse of his grandfather, the Ogiame Erejuwa II.

In 1963, Ogiame Erejuwa II, had taken the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Mid-West Government to court over the inclusion of Itsekiri in the newly created Mid-West region.

Ogiame Erejuwa II told the court that the Itsekiri Kingdom is part of the Yoruba nation and should have remained as part of the Western region and not included in the Mid-West region.

He argued emphatically that the Itsekiri people would like to be a part of the Western region and backed the Action Group led by Awolowo and rejected the NCNC led by Nnamdi Azikiwe who controlled the Mid-West.

Angrily, NCNC leader Nnamdi Azikiwe deposed Ogiame Erejuwa II and deported him to Ogbesse. The king then put a curse on all the Itsekiri who supported Ibo to bring the Itsekiri kingdom into disrepute. Okotie Eboh, an Itsekiri who supported the Ibo to depose the Itsekiri King would later be assassinated by the Ibo soldiers involved in the January 1966 military coup.

In 1966, Awolowo was set free by Yakubu Gowon and named the Federal Minister of Finance and the de facto Vice President of Nigeria. The first thing he did was to reinstate Ogiame Erejuwa II as the Olu of Warri. But Ogiame Erejuwa did not revoke the curse. His grandson, Ogiame Erejuwa III, has just removed the curse on the Itsekiri people.

The Itsekiri Kingdom is one of the twenty-six Yoruba tribes.

It was only the referendum for the Midwest that was approved by prime minister tafawa balewa , and this referendum came to be cause the people of Benin-delta province were on it day and night not resting to make it happen, a proposals was only made by just individual suggestion for a state in eastern Region and another for the middle belt in the North, nobody worked hard to make it happen like people from Midwest did.
Before the British granted independence all the 3 Regions agreed to have Referendums for their individual ethnic Minorities
including the East . It was one of the Conditions on Which independence was granted .

Azikiwe, Balewa, Bello and Awolowo were all part of that agreement

Azikiwe was Part of Balewa’s Government but he somehow forgot push for or to hold the referendum for the Eastern Minorities at the Same time that Balewa and Bello also deliberately forgot to hold the Northern Referendum for Kwara and the Middle belt

But they insisted on the Midwest referendum after jailing Awolowo

No one forgot to hold a referendum anywhere, do you think Nigeria just woke up one morning and conducted a referendum for Midwest? You are wrong my friend the Midwest people started the agitation since in the 40s they tirelessly fought for it, the proposal was thrown out many many times, fruitless constitutional conferences were held at different times for many years, internal problems between minority tribes and the Edo mejority tribe was there too but they never gave up, if not for the personal relationship Festus okotie had with the almadu belo who was a boss to tafawa balewa, balewa never wanted to approval the referendum cause the issue became a political issue , it was the fight between awolowo and Akintola that opened the easy door for that referendum else western region could have never allowed it

Liar.

Even that Judas goat, Reno Omokri was correct when he said Itsekiris are originally from Ijebu,

By changing the migratory history of the Itsekiris you want to claim a land that was never yours and to demean your superiors in Ijebu land as your lessers.

This is why nobody likes you in Warri. You idiots can lie for Africa.

Rubbish narrative mumu.
Was Zik the premier of Midwest.?
Thesame Awolowo caused the whole problem in Nigeria.
Awolowo with his penchant to lead at all cost caused problem in South West which made them deny Zik as their Premier after the whole Yoruba voted for him.
Awolowo brought ethnic politics to Nigeria.
Awolowo was imprisoned for all his misdeeds against the new formed federated Nigeria. No wonder he sabotaged and staged a coup against Akintola for supporting Zik.
While Awolowo was in prison Ojukwu pardoned him immediately the New republic was formed.
Awolowo went behind and joined Gowon to fight igbos.
Awolowo later became a finance minister and used all Nigeria resources to strangulated the igbos because he felt they dominated the civil service at the time.
Awolowo later went to champion the Economic blockade against the East where millions of Biafra children died. The world cried and he did not listen because he though he could dessimate the igbos .
After the war Gowon innitiated the 3Rs , ( Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Reintegration) Awolowo was not happy for this later went and convinced Gowon to innitiate the £20 policy for Igbo no matter what millions you had in account .
Immediately the Policy was endorsed by the supreme military council, he went further to innitiate the indigenization policy knowing fully well that igbos with £20 can't buy any property from the multinationals.
He later sold many to himself( e.g Coca-Cola) and sold the rest to brothers.
In 1978 he contested for Nigeria's presidency and failed that election worefully.
He later came with his propaganda that he won.
In 1983 he was jailed by his compatriots the Fulani in the person of Gen. Muhammed Buhari for treason and was later on released for a house arrest.
Awolowo because his frustration and regrets in life later went to Kill himself by commuting suicide.
Thesame Awolowo worked with Gowon to cede bakasi peninsula to Cameroon to strengthen their economic blockade against Igbos.
Today we have lost Bakassi forever. Today the indigenous people of Bakassi are now refugees and that singular act has claimed thousands of life.
Awolowo made the Olu of itsekiri the Olu of Warri in a place were they were minority. The Urhogbos , ijaw etc remains Majority.
In 2000- 2002 .That singular act consumed more than 50,000 lives.
Awolowo caused more problem to Nigeria more than he can chew
He is the innitiator of ethnic politics.
May Almighty God judge him where ever he is now. His hell aboard will be a big Bed forever.

When Awolowo bwas teleaaed Biafra had been declared.
So tell me how can Gowon give orders in a new republic. Anumpam.
Even Banjo was released by Ojukwu and promises to work with the new republic.

False narrative, your Igbo founding father was a thief.Awolowo represented Yorubas while Azikwe represented the Igbos. Why didnt Aminu kano try to be premier of Western /Eastern region?.Igbo greed turned Nigeria into hellhole it is today with your bloody miltary coup of January 1966 killing leaders of other tribes before fulani reverse it.My regret is why Yorubas in the miltary dudnit reset the damage done by narcissistic Igbos and fulani invaders.

Run from what exactly? Ojukwu released awolowo from prison, just because Gowon immediately approached awolowo to make him finance minister after ojukwu released him from prison doesn't mean he Gowon released him

When Awolowo bwas teleaaed Biafra had been declared.
So tell me how can Gowon give orders in a new republic. Anumpam.
Even Banjo was released by Ojukwu and promises to work with the new republic.
He later sabotaged Biafra and Ojukwu and he paid the prise.
Awolowo was a traitor he turned against Igbos because he has penchant to dislike of Igbos.
He thought the fulanis would make him president.
He died frustrated.[/quote]Awolowo never owed foolish Igbos any loyalty, his loyalty lies with the Yoruba race not Narcissitic nyanmirins.
How can you expect a stranger to give you his loyaltY?,you guys reason like fools.

Banjo was during the war. There was nothing like federal govt in the east at that time. What we have was Nigeria and Biafrans separatists. Do I have to continue to school you?
During that period Nigeria was running a military government the first of it kind after the coup , ironsi was the first military head of state , he appointed 4 military governors to head the 4 regions, western region, northern region Midwest Region and eastern region, ojukwu was the governor of eastern Region, when ironsi was killed, ogundipe was next in line to become head of state but he chickened out even when ojukwu encourage him to take power he ojukwu will recognize him as head of state, he didn't and Gowon a junior officer took power, ojukwu did not recognize Gowon , ojukwu and Gowon never communicated during this period, ojukwu was in total control of the Eastern Region
