Do you even know Zik? His father and the ties he had with the Brits? Zik was used to tie Nigeria together until northerners get to understand what they stand to gain in the association. From inception, northerners feared domination from South, so they wanted out with their arewa.

Till date, I believe there is an element of truth that Zik had hands in the first coup. He was trying to undo his mistakes.
