Well, over here it’s safe and even encouraged for nursing women to take the COVID vaccine so that you are protected and your baby can get the antibiotics which could protect him/her.

What country and what brand of vaccine pls?

Pls how safe is it to use soap inserted in the anus to help a baby poop she is on EBF
I dont think this is safe for even adults undecided

EBF babies can go for days without pooing, as long as they pee and fart.

I got Pfizer 2 weeks ago. Both pregnant women and nursing moms can get the vaccine. At least, here for sure. Infact, plenty OB offices will offer you the vaccine.

Please I need advise.
I have a 10week old twins. One is always choking after breast milk (though we make sure she burps after every meal) I have been laying her on the side. Once her head is up anything can happen. Her sister doesn't have this challenge. Any advise please....

Worried Dad..

Hi Dad, please don't be worried. They're two different being and you cannot compare one symptoms reactions over another.

I also have 120days old twins, one (Taiwo) choke and partly vomit after breast milk meal while the other (kehinde) swallow anything food on sight grin

So it's nothing to worry about Dad. Cheers

Mama E how are you?
The health center nurses discouraged me when I asked about it for nursing mothers. But I haven't asked a doctor yet.

Good evening mommas. Trust your little darlings are doing great.

I am a FTM with a 14months chairman.

I have been following this thread since I was pregnant. The advises given here are superb.

Please mommas, I need your advice on HOW TO STOP BREASTFEEDING MY CHAIRMAN. The best way to go about it and if there is any way I can stop the pains that accompanies it( I heard that weaning a child even results in fever and stuffs like that on the mother's side. Don't know how true it is though).
How do I cope with his mid night demands of breast milk?

He doesn't really accept the food we eat at home except his cereals, custard and fruit juice. Though sometimes he takes Eba with draw soup.

Thanks mommas for your anticipated replies.

Hello mum's and docs in the house. Please help o. My son is about 4 months ths old. He's been having nasal congestion since almost birth but now it has gotten worse. (We believe he took it from his dad who has sinusitis). It distubs his breathing alot especially at night and when eating. During omugwo, my mum was using hot water with napkin close to his nose.
We've been to 2 hospitals several times regarding it. We were asked to use mentol crystals in hot water for him, vitamin c, Amoxil suspension and chlorpheniramine syrup but they don't seem to relieve him. What can I do? I don't want to go back to the hospitals. Please help a ftm

steam him.....

get into an enclosed space, i prefer kitchen..put kettle with long spout on boil , find a way to suspend cotton wool you hv put several drops of silver bird ointment and baby rob above the spout of the kettle..so the escaping steam from the kettle hits it. close all doors and windows allow steam to form and engulf the whole place for 10 to 15mins go in with baby, and ensure the steam enters babys nose........15mins inside should be ok...do same morning and night....

if all this is too much trouble, you can search for vicks humidifier or any other good humifier on amazon, it uses electricity 600watss and produces non stop steam and vapour..this will dissolve any congestion in babys air passages

I’m fine Hun. Long time no hear. I don’t know why healthcare professionals are discouraging pregnant women and nursing moms from the vaccine in Nigeria o. I was also skeptical of getting the shot during pregnancy but that was my own personal issue lol. My OB has been pro-vaccine ever since they rolled it out last year. I decided to get the shot now cos the delta variant is getting worse and I have young kids in the house. This variant has been hitting kids hard and causing many of them to be hospitalized. Lord help us.

I am no help regarding how to stop breastfeeding babies. My kids always stop when they’re ready with no fuss. Regarding how to dry your milk with no fever or pain, I used cabbage and rubbed peppermint oil on my boobies, wore tight sports bra and I was completely dry within a week. Maybe try that when you’re ready.

its very safe. studies have shown that there is no side effect. Nigeria is not giving nursing mums but if you feel you may be exposed, keep baby at home and take. i know plenty women who have taken and all js well.

its your choice to make

Thank you mamas for your responses on the covid vaccine.

I made up my mind yesterday and went for it. No side effects whatsoever, except some mild pains on the arm.

Thank you all.

Hello Mums and lovies pls help me..

1.For a 2yrs 6months immunization that was missed, can she still take it at 2yrs 8months?
Cuz I'm trying to change my HMO so I'll avoid paying for them as they are quiet expensive...

These general hospitals only give vitamin A from a year old, and they won't even tell you there are other vaccines they don't administer..

2. My DD has little rashes at the tip of her fingers, like rough rashes, pls what can i use for it. I have tried skineal, ori, it's still not clearing.

Good evening mamas. Just now a friend told me about rotavirus and other vaccines.
Please, which vaccines do I need to get for my baby before he clocks 6months and a year.
She said general hospitals don't give these vaccines.

That's a normal poop consistency of an exclusively breastfed baby. They can either poop after every meal or not poop for more than a week

The cost of baby diapers have gone up how many times in the last 2-3 months.
Mamas please help me recommend cheaper options than molfix and Bebem.
I'm almost going crazy.

have you used either bembem or molfix? Any reaction on your baby? If no,they are good pampers in my opinion.
Kisskid is also a very good diaper, economy pack is about #5000.
God will make it easy for parents.
