That's where it got me more worried.

I don't think anybody has had access to my phone for the past 1 month.

So I'm suspecting that my ATM details has been compromised somehow.. but I'm not sure if one can use only the details to borrow money.

That's the first thing I did, also tried calling customer care, but nobody was picking..

I wish there could be a way I can know the person that did this.. and it was like he tested to know if it's working, before striking hard...

It's not possible to get loan with just your ATM card.

Someone probably knows your details, BVN or Account number, started the process of the loan, then when the code entered the person quickly used the code then deleted the message so you won't find out.

That's the best possible thing that happened.

Someone used ur details for a pos transaction...the xcross is the account name... U have gone to the wrong pos stand to withdraw hence ur information was obtained from there.
