Spare the rod and spoil the child. There's nothing like judging others parenting skills. Every parent knows the right thing to do do but fail or refuse just because of the " na my pikin" mentality but when it comes to handling other people's children they don't spare the rod. In fact they'll use hot iron to pierce the childs hand and claim they are training them. Any parent who fail to raise up Godly children will always live to face the consequences. My parents never spared us anytime we misbehaved. I remember once Joining other children to call out one certain uncle shouting on top of our voices " brother you too tall"!!!! And he was seeing his girlfriend off then. He came back and reported us all to our parents. It was only me my dad flogged. The other children's parents never diciplined them. Las Las, those children their parents never diciplined/diciplines whenever they did anything wrong, some ended up having bastards in their parents house while the boys among them became notorious armed robbers. But here I am today to the glory of God. Evethough my parents are late now, the training they gave is still there guiding me. If I have mine, I'll give them the same training.
