Does anyone use creditkarma? Are their scores accurate? I used up about 70% of one of my cards, just a few days before my cc company produced a statement, so it reflected on the statement, and on Creditkarma as well. Few days later, my credit score, tanked by about 23 points. |

kode12: They do update pretty quickly usually within days sometimes. Your score will reduce lower the longer the debt is held unpaid. It's because your credit exposure is higher now. |

kode12: 70% is alot to use on a credit card...try to pay off the money used and stick with 10-20% for the next 3 months... The best way to increase your ratings is usually by paying off your credit card twice a month...when you make a purchase pay something into the card like two weeks before they take the scheduled payment and ensure you choose the option of making full payment 6 Likes 7 Shares |

Good afternoon house! Please I'd like to confirm from those already in the UK if our local dollar (GTBank) card works over there for payment such as hotel bills, COVID-19 tests, etc. We intend using our card upon arrival, since cash payment are usually not preferred. Thanks ALL! |

mrcodebreaker: Have you stayed in 3 floors to be sure you like such a house , all that stairs might make 2 floors better and easier to sell later on Also townhouse tends to be the ones with 3 floors, I hardly seen detached with 3 floors expect those that have loft conversion |

Hello guys, My husband and I came into the UK on Thursday, he started feeling sick on Saturday and not getting any better even after taking malaria treatment. Our day 2 covid result is not back yet but i plan to call 999 regardless. Is there any implication if I do? What is the worst that can happen please? 1 Like |

Preshyi: Sorry about that, could be malaria. There shouldn't be, but be clear to the NHS on the type of visa you have when registering because one wanted to slam us with bill as private before GP registration. |

Call the ambulance or emergency it is your right. Its even the quickest way to see a doctor. Or You can go to the hospital emergency section. |

EngrSaks:Yeah that’s true. I didn’t expect it to have such huge impact, considering I had another card that’s got 0% utilisation. Credit karma makes a weekly credit request, but my CC provider only provides updates on a monthly basis, so I’m waiting for the next cycle. I’ve learnt my lesson lol, at this point, I’ve cleared the card, but did it less than 2 working days before my direct debit went out, so my CC company is owing me money now. I’m waiting for that to reflect in my next balance before requesting for my money back lol. Hopefully low credit utilisation won’t count against me now. |
