Found this in a garden yesterday?

The ones in Nigeria are mostly black.

The way to kill them is salt.

they are edible but hosts a dangerous parasite just as snails. so it is risky to eat them

The black ones that almost look like the creature in the OP's picture aren't slugs but leeches. Very hard to kill almost imposisible via physical force and very rubbery. Salt kills them horribly....

We called them kulukulu in Jos back in the day!
