Hello guys... So tonight, I'd like us to know about Fifth Wheels. Have you ever wondered how a Truck head pulls a semi trailer (Maybe a tank, or a flat bed)? https://5.imimg.com/data5/XR/BG/GLADMIN-2552595/open-trailer-500x500.png Well, this is possible with what we call a FIFTH WHEEL. In Nigeria, we call it TURN TABLE. https://lenduboistrucking.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/ldt359.jpg This Fifth Wheel is usually attached to the Tractor, and then it hooks something beneath the semi trailer. The trucks I have seen in Nigeria, especially Lagos. The truck drivers are fond of normally removing the tyres in other to use it as extra tyres |
