Winning a medal for your country does not equal meal ticket for life. Lots of Americans who won medal are doing regular 9 to 5 job to survive. Klete Keller won medal for USA and he was once homeless and sleep inside his car at walmart parking lot. While I sympathize with his predicament but holding government to hostage cos he won a medal is story for the gods.
