Which one is 'Foot work goal-stopper'? you just want to manage and place Mendy ahead of Elderson. Oga, footwork has nothing to do with blocking shots with your feet. Footwork involves your long passes, short passes, dribble and ball possession. Elderson has that more than any other Goalkeeper in England. Barcelona Ter Stagen is also good

There is a reason pep guardiola likes this guy. He might not be the best shot stopper like Alisson of Liverpool,David de gea of man Utd,Mendy of Chelsea but he has a better foot work than these keepers,his short and long range passing abilities,the link up play from the back is fantastic and that's why guardiola likes him. Heard ederson started his early career days as a midfielder and that explains a lot.

allison n mendy are equally great with d foot. chelsea, liverpool, city even arsenal all play frm d back starting frm their goal keepers just that arsenal's defense is shit.Only man u is left-out. All big teams has since synched into this

Ederson has been the best in the EPL not about playing for champions he is the best keeper and has been consistent also....Even when Allison won the golden glove 2 season before Ederson still came second.....

I am trying to decipher which Mendy they are talking about, Ederson footwork is second to none, not even Neuer (Neuer might be a better sweeper) but when it comes to ball playing ability Ederson no get mate.
