NNPC Pension Fund Limited is a trust fund set up to manage NNPC Pension assets for the benefit of all NNPC & DPR retirees

The NNPC Pension Scheme was set up in 1983 as a non contributory defined benefit scheme.
In 1986 it was transformed into a Trust Fund known as the Incorporated Trustees of NNPC Pension Fund.
Following the enactment of the Pension Reform Act (PRA) in 2004, the Fund was incorporated into a Limited Liability Company known as the NNPC Pension Fund Limited (NPFL).

The recruitment exercise was suspended due to a query NNPC Pension Fund Limited received from Federal Character Commission on the legality of carrying out such exercise without informing them officially. However, NNPC Pension Fund Limited is a Limited Liability Company and not an MDA, so FCC erred here. They are working on resolving the issue. Until then the recruitment stand suspended.

To the best of my knowledge the issue that led to the suspension of the recruitment has not been resolved. And the MD NNPC Pension Fund Limited was transferred to another SBU of NNPC while a New MD was appointed.
If you have people in Federal Character Commission you can confirm from them if they have more information because the ball is in their court.
