StrongInBed: Red cap like isi-agwu is a recent introduction in Igbo culture. Your fore fathers had no civilization talkless of an empire.....they ran around, hunted and fvcked around half naked in the forest.....your dressing was similar to that of the Zulu's of south africa....not that it's a bad thing. Have you seen Zulu women in their traditional wears....the problem with you Igbos is that you're always trying so hard to westernize your culture. 2 Likes |

ArcSEMPECJ:I can also tell you dollar was around #100 before PDP comes to power in 1999 PMS #45 Goods, commodity and Food stuffs wasn’t as expensive in 1999 as PDP left them in 2015. So if you want to compare, bring it on! But I know the concept of inflation is alien to your comprehension. 1 Like |

Narrow Gauge Minister. The minister who agrees to construct standard rails into another country. But approves narrow gauge for his state and Geopolitical zone. In Nigeria, it's all about selfish interests, with zero national interest. My cousins are in Niger republic. |

TheLionofLasigi: Another port in SW will not ease pressure on Lagos ports. More ports (or dredging existing port plus equipment upgrade) in the SS will dramatically reduce pressure on Lagos ports. An inland port in the hinterland of SW connected by rail will make even more sense, so as to take cargo off the roads in lagos and reduce the cost of moving cargo out of lagos which I understand is more than the cost of bringing said cargo from China. 1 Like |

StrongInBed: Lol check my edited comments. Am not fulani neither do I like them....am from ibadan, and one of the ruling houses in ibadan.... tracing my roots isn't a problem. And you should know that the initial Igbo wear like the Zulu's wasn't uncivilized in my opinion, it's just that they weren't a fully developed society. 2 Likes |

TheLionofLasigi: This is not Yoruba traditional attire. This was adopted from Hausa-Fulani, who in turn adopted it from African Arabs. Before then, you guys were running around naked. What is the real Yoruba traditional attire? Do not lie 3 Likes 1 Share

KillMNKnow: Egypt dont use red caps it's actualy morocco. The red cap is a symbol of respect between anambara and benin due to the european influence, european crowns back then esp portuguese was the combination of red cap and metal decor watch jack the slayer end part to understand what i mean. Meanwhile the southern igbos of imo and abia uses the wooly red and white igbotic cap. The real origin of the red cap is europe. Kanuri got their from the berber, the berber got their from europe.. Shikenan. Modified!. Actualy the fez hat originated from ottoman empire not europe but europe brought it to benin-nri region while the berber distributed it in the sahelian region. Morroco is the major country in north africa still using it, check barapapa for instance |

wink2015: At present there are no deep sea ports in Nigeria. Apapa and Tin Can Ports are built in the Lagoon. Onne Port, Rivers State is built on Bonny River (there is no Sea in Port Harcourt and the city is about 30km inwards away from the Atlantic ocean). Warri and Calabar are also built in Estuaries. 1 Like |

Patrioticbreed9: Exactly! Nigerians will turn anything into hate-fueled ethnic argument, full of insults, that only exposes how ignorant they are, and does not serve any good to the tribe that they are claiming to represent. Human practices move from place to place, often modifying as it goes along. Nobody invents everything and it's only a backward, insular and barbaric group that will not change and adapt to new and better things. Imagine the audacity of a person from a tribe who adapted better things from other tribes (no matter how long ago) accusing another tribe of not being proud of their culture by adapting? How twisted and depraved is that? Tueh! 2 Likes |

OnlyDeCapPlease: I knew some idiot would bring up this falsehood. But repeating a lie multiple times doesn't make it truth. The agbada style clothing isn't synonymous only with the Yoruba's but the fabric such as aso-oke done in parts of Oyo and adire done in parts of ogun state for hundreds of years ago is testament to the fact that we didn't inherit agbada from any fulani from futa jalo.....plus have you even taken time to research the typical fulani dressing? A simple google search would cure your ignorance; first picture below is the known fulani dressing, after that is an ancient picture of an ibadan bride, groom and his best man taken in the early 19th century, after that is a picture of Igbo women taken around the same time.....you can't revise history to help your damaged ego unfortunately. 3 Likes

BKayy: Demonic history revisionist. Abdul wasn't even a Yoruba name so how would a yoruba witch doctor bear the name abdul witch is clearly an Islamic name, plus reverse search those images and you'd find out that those are American Samoans. In your stupidity you failed simply edited a picture without doing your scam well. Dumb flatin0 pig, and you're yet to show us pictures of your fashion designer gucci tribesmen stupid rettarded bush running ngwua cannibals. 1 Like |

TheLionofLasigi: So you are back from your emergency furious Google search eh? There is no doubt that some women in regions all over Nigeria dressed like the women in the 3rd picture in that era. There were also some people in the era, in all regions in the South, who dressed in full English wear. Google will give you results for what you search for. Yes I agree with you. The agbada style is not synonymous only with Yorubas, so who did they adopt it from? Adire and aseoke done for 100s of years? Big lie! Also you conveniently showed only fulani attire, meanwhile this is Hausa attire from an era before the one you showed. I'm 100% certain that the Yoruba attire was adapted from Hausas. Stupid argument anyway.
