Professors earn almost 3 times the pay of a director in public service. It takes about 10years to be a professor, while a director takes more than 30years. You do the math. What exactly are they complaining abouthuh
Can you compare the impact of a professor and a civil servant??

There are countries poorer than Nigeria and with less education budget that are doing better.

Quality of tutorship is what we're discussing here.

Most of the money ASUU has been fighting for is allowances and some accrued funds to line their pockets.

I quite understand you're agitated because your father is probably a member of the ASUU leaches.

You're also a product of their incompetence and deteriorating standards, thus your tepid little rant.

While you're mentally struggling to retort within the bounds of your rotten education, you might also take the time to go fukk yourself.
Please list these countries and their population.....also tell us if their public universities is free (no tuition whatsoever, just service charge).....u guys don't consider all these, u just open mouth and feel u are making sense....fyi, I don't have any relation that's a staff in any public university, I am an angry Nigerian student who understands the fact that our government has neglected the educational system in this country......school admin struggle to keep the system working, poor facilities, little or no equipments.....how do u expect a lecturer to deliver quality tutorship with old school facilities? ABI make he use him salary buy materials and equip classrooms? No tell me, I seriously want to know.

No. A professor ends in the classroom, mostly about academic not practical issues. Civil servants run the entire country

Then you don't kwn the importance of education to a country. The professor produce the civil servant and every educated person in the society. The professor produce the best brain that drives the economy. The professor produce research and innovation.

Little wonder developed countries pay teachers, lecturers more than other sectors. But I'm not surprise you are belittling the role of a professor
