You don't generally need a transit visa.....

You might do if :

- You don't sync your flights correctly
- Your flight experiences unexpected delays

In both cases, you can sleep at the airport (hard chair's available, toilets, bathrooms and restaurants).....

WiFi and charging ports also available, plus very long corridors, to undertake your strolling exercises......... grin

I’m familiar with this scenario but I don’t know of anyone who switched midway his/her studies and that is the basis of my question.
It doesn't work that way and I figured this is common knowledge. Graduate jobs come in-term to resume upon programme completion.

Good Morning Everyone

A friends flight to UK next 2 weeks is via Air France
There will be a one hour stop over at Paris

Will she be needing a transit Visa?

If last leg is via ORLY, yes.... If CDG, No......

If ORLY, ensure she claims checked in baggage at ORLY.......

@Lexusgs430..Na man you be, just got of the phone with klm, and they confirmed that if flight is through only Amsterdam no need for ATV(airport transit visa) but if it passes through France, then one needs a transit visa. This saves me a whole lot of stress and kudi.. thanks a lot.

This might have been discussed previously.
Amazon partnered with some training schools to offer a 12 weeks tuition free course on AWS that’s guaranteed to land an entry role.

It’s focused on unemployed or underemployed people. You don’t need a STEM degree to enroll, but you must be a resident in the UK and have right to work.

So, I think it would be useful for dependants who are struggling to get a job in the UK.

You can check out the companies carrying out the training in the UK here.

This is a gold mine. Thanks for sharing wink

It would be interesting to see how many actually get a job after the training because the UK i know.... if you don't have work experiences in AWS or a related field. Its almost impossible to get in

CDG is so big that 1hr would be like 5 secs to connect your flight. I always advice 2hrs transit at least.

I missed my connecting flight once after a good hour running around in CDG.

it is required. You need to apply at least 7 days before travel date. That means confirmed flight ticket and passport with extra validity of 3 months after the day you will transit. Call klm or air france nigeria
Make the application via vfs

Q1. I am an advocate of moving together once and for all and starting the journey together, but moving separately doesn't mean visa denial as long as all documentation is right. Although approval length may vary.

Q2 . Depends on the warehouse and hours worked, not less than UK minimum wage £8.92 and could be anywhere up to £15 if you do more hours

Q3. If no kids 1 bed flat is fine for you both, enjoy the closeness grin grin, if more than 1 kids 2bedroom ground floor flat or house

Q4. Be supportive, kind, prayerful and all others will fall in place

Evening house. Is it advisable to get house in Bristol while my school is University of Bath. Just considering Bristol because of my part-time job and full-time for partner. Accommodation in Bath is expensive. Any advice?

Depends on where you live in Bristol - if driving from the South yes, otherwise you'll be spending a lot of time in traffic. Anywhere close to Temple Meads and the rent will be similar to renting in Bath, add train tickets and you'll be better off in Bath. Places like Keynsham, Radstock, Peasedown St John, Midsomer Norton are outside Bath with very good and regular bus links. There are trains from Keynsham too.

Good morning all. Pls does Naija ATM cards work in the Uk. If it does, is it the usual naira card or dollar dominated card ? What’s the monthly limit? Do they charge at market rate or cbn rate?

Grateful to have your response
