You said you don't know the allegation nor the petitioner. When it comes to customary arbitration it's better to be on the lookout because once all the conditions for the grant of award has been satisfied the court will clothe such customary award with estoppel per rem judicatum however there are instances were the court will not clothe such customary award. I'm not saying you should go for the customary arbitration or not but if you must pull out from the customary arbitration you will have to do so at a time that is valid.

Now from the letter that was sent I couldn't read it because the tree covered everything but you said you don't know the petitioner none the allegation what can be drawn from it is:
A) There is no fair hearing, if you are an accused you ought to know the petitioner(s) by their full name and this would be contained in the letter.

B) You have to know the accusation that have been levelled against you, this is to enable you prepare a good defence.

C) If you are an accused how can you prepare a good statement of defence if you have to respond to the allegation(s) immediately.

D) Even if you are not an accused but a witness to something of which they need you to testify, you still ough to know what exactly the issue they need your witness statement and a witness CANNOT be forced to testify (except by a court of law after appropriate procedure has been taken)

Conclusively, from you write up I don't see any elements of fairness, equity and natural justice that would play out if you go through this process and I'm not sure you will get justice (you don't even know the issue). Most Customary arbitration use the word "Invitation" and not "summon" even when they use summon they will say you came willing and subjected yourself to be the procedure without force, fear or intimidation so how come you saying you were intimidated to finish the procedure of arbitration even when you could be coarse to finish the procedure.

I saw #25,000 on the letter are you expected to go with the sum of #25,000? I don't know how strong minded you are but you can dump that paper in a place that is very far away were you won't come across it soon (but would be able to make reference to the letter should the need arise.)

Let your accuser(s) go to court.

I got this letter through a shop at my gate. I need immediate help and advice. Also anyone with more information about the juju should please enlighten me. I don't know the petitioner or anything about the allegations.
