Guinea Coup Leaders Announce Nationwide Curfew by Kwanza(op): 10:40pm On Sep 05, 2021

Special forces who seized power in Guinea on Sunday, capturing President Alpha Conde, announced a nationwide curfew “until further notice” as well as the replacement of governors by the military.

The junta also said in a statement read out over national television that it would convene Conde’s cabinet ministers and other top officials at 11:00 am (1100 GMT) Monday in the capital Conackry.

Obviously since France is involved.

There is not any expectations of reprisals.

All of this is to consolidate power and in the coming weeks hand over to a more tolerable government.

This is a lesson to the Fulani murderers clinging onto power.

Maybe similar event should be replicated in Nigeria cos am getting fed up with this government sincerely.

A very successful coup,well orchestrated and masterminded by France..

A similar feat would have taken place here in naija had it been we were colonized by the French, unlike our colonial masters.......... Britain just too weak like dodo.... No wonder it's been long they have even won the world cup tongue

I think it is a good Idea for Coup in any African Nation that there Leader has ruled upto 30 years.. Old Dumb headed leaders should give way...Dragging Africa back

However, many of these presidents oversee political campaigns and elections marred by brutalities and arrests of opponents.

All these unrest are happening because Nigeria is weak, and has been weak; only now it is in an emergency type of weak.

We can't be discussing cows, mannequin, sit-at-home orders, etc. And be expecting any timely progress.

Nigeria is the leader of Africa, others believe us dy(i)e, but we no believe ourselves or wan believe ourselves. Our uncertainty is causing panic in Africa, and our corruption are imitated. Na we dey do ourself for Africa.
