how do I handle a battery that will show charging on the laptop but will never charge ? dell mini inspiron.

Could most time be the battery problem, but sometimes can be the charger, so to trouble shoot change the Charger first, you can carry your laptop to where they sell laptop chargers and battery, then use the charger that matches your laptop to test, if it increases while charging then problem solved.

If not then you need to look out for battery issues. So you can also change the battery too and test if it increases.

It can happen that it's the charger that spoilt the battery, so if you get a new battery history could repeat it's self. So make sure the volt for your charger matches your laptop.

I notice that the battery will charge on a different system.


can it be driver update issues? just thinking.

I think its the charger, your charger does not match your system voltage. It's not driver issues.

Take it to a store where you can buy and test the charger well.

If the B3 is not a follow come

Then. The problem is the b3

Is never an update or outdated issues. The problem is not software related..

But hardware problem

Try to change b3... If you can find follow come b3 compatible with ur system. But ur money on it..

Most replacement b3. Code drive are bad.. so some time dey maybe charging but reading not chargiing

While at time. They percentage may be 10% and yet they will be reading on ur system b3 level at 70%

I advice u change b3. Don't ignore for such can weaken the performance of ur system.
